Regarding “renowned archaeologist” Jimmy Corsetti - he has a bachelor’s degree in communications and an MBA (Master of Business Administration), no formal training in archaeology. Knowledge, if any, of that would come from whatever personal research he may have done.

That's all I looked at. I don't know who called him a renowned archaeologist -- did someone?

Sometimes amateurs/lapyersons do get involved in legit archaeological digs as volunteers, but even if that were the case, that doesn't make him an archaeologist.

He doesn't claim to be an archaeologist, imo. If another made that claim on his behalf, it would be incorrect. There's no digging involved in his research. Nobody has to listen to what he says, but I believe a person should at least review the material, before commenting on it?
