Look up the philosophy of an existence claim. In an existence claim the burden of proof for the claimed existence is on the claimant.

Try reading the whole chapter.. it's rather enlightening. Just a warning though, trying to use scripture to disprove God to me will never work.

2: That something is dismissed without evidence does not mean the thing dismissed is untrue, nor that it is true.

Yes, it does. The word "rational" has the word "ratio" embedded in it. To be rational is to ratio the degree of belief with the strength of the evidence.

Zero evidence, zero belief.

Anything might be true or not. It takes evidence to believe one way or the other.
