Buddha vs. Jesus (comparative study)

May the hopes and promises, yours desires, be always supported by your deeds, and forgiveness help to don't be saddened if worked out differently. At least it was the decision of yours.

It's pointless to do comparisons.
OK, so dont try to compare some human with the Lord Jesus Christ.
Tell me why you believe Buddha is the one to follow, and not Jesus.
I gave you my reasons.
He proved that there is everlasting immortal life after death, and we can choose to be with Him, or far removed from all comfort with God.

Eating the teacher...

Interesting ohrase.....so like when someone goes to MIT..and with that on their resume it guarantees a job.

Here we call the person first in their class a valedictorian, but the last person in Med school is called Doctor.

You are saying just because you studied under X guru doesn't mean ya grocked it all?

Why should I follow Buddha's way of morality, in stead of the moral standards of Jesus?
Buddha is dead, Jesus is alive.
Buddha left his wife and family to seek the answer, Jesus gave His life to show us the answer of everlasting life.
Perhaps you can tell me why I should follow Buddha ISO Jesus.
1. Because Buddha does not insist on acceptance of 'One God' (for which there is no evidence), and that social rules have their origin in that 'One God'. That is a lie. The standards of morality are much the same in nearly all societies. Neither Buddha nor Jesus invented them. Buddha only claimed to turn the wheel of 'dhamma' again. He neither claimed an invention nor a copy-right over it.
2. Some people have doubted the historicity of Buddha, more people have doubted the historicity of Jesus. If they were historical, they are both completely dead and gone.
3. There is no everlasting life after death. That is a total lie. Jesus is claimed as the son of God and his mother is claimed to have been a virgin even after conception, that is evidently a laughable lie. I do not know how billions of Christians accept that or how they accept resurrection.
4. One just needs to be humane. Should I follow Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad or the ways of Hindus, that is the root cause of much trouble, conceit.

Without going into the detail, which will be numerous threads on this forum,
He appeared 2 000 years ago in the Jewish environment where there were ancient books saying
He will be born from a virgin,
will teach the will of God,
Will do wonders.
will be killed for claiming He was the Word of God incarnated on Earth,
will remain in the grave for 3 days.
Will ride from the dead to be evidence that He destroyed "Death" and that whoever believes in Him, will also gain immortality in the presence of God.

Now, the above was witnessed by more than 5 00 people, of which His Mother, brothers and apostles.
3 of His disciples wrote their recollections in the 'Gospels" and one apostle had someone writing the 4th gospel down for him.

There are prophecies in the Jewish scriptures detailing Jesus as the God who will come to His people on Earth.

OK, so how can we trust the Jewish TANAKH (Scriptures)?
Easy, there are no nook on Earth that has the history of 4 000 years written down, which was comfirmed in every detail in archaeology.
Places, Names, events... more than 3 000 such instances are confirmed by archaeology.

OK, so what? It can be only a nice historical book!

Yip, but then again, the description given by this God of the Bible on the origins of the Universe resulted in the cosmological sciences we have today.
Even Emmanuel Kant wrote his thesis on the history of the Universe on the principles of Newton in 1775, where he gave the exact Nebular theory, which was confirmed in 1925 by Hubble.

Guess what?
The atheist scientific world hates it when you show them these facts., because they will have to admit that modern scientific understanding of the Origins of the Universe came from Genesis 1!

This is what Kant says in one picture. Note I took the picture from Nigel Hennbest's book who explains the Nebular theory.
Are stories written in books 25 centuries old true? That is the first fallacy.
The nebular theory (your attachment) is one of the examples of such foolish belief.
The Jesus story was adjusted in later times to match with what was written in the old books.

Witnessed! That is what your book says. That is not evidence. Your book is just an advertisement blurb.
"Most scholars hold that all four were anonymous (with the modern names of the "Four Evangelists" added in the 2nd century), almost certainly none were by eyewitnesses to the Historical Jesus, .."

"If we deceive ourselves into thinking the predication has some objective force (that is, that it has anything to say about the conditions of possibility of the object itself), we cross over into subreption (.. meaning stealing)".
Immanuel Kant in his Inaugural dissertation

There is no story more funny than Genesis 1.

If you're going to learn to swim, don’t just stand on the shore looking at the water—dive in and explore its depths; you haven't even dipped your toe in yet. To make such an arrogant claim that Buddha abandoned his loved ones shows a lack of understanding. If you opened your eyes and sought the answers before passing judgment on questions you've barely considered, you might realize that Buddha left for the benefit of his family. After attaining enlightenment, he returned to share his insights, guiding them on a much greater path—one that would not have been possible had he stayed at home.
