Are Christians in favor of turning the other cheek?
I see a video on YouTube that talks about someone who mocks God being punished by Jesus Christ and God.
Hence this question, what do Christians think of verse 5:38-40 Matthew?
The question is do witches take revenge? Do Christians take revenge? Are witches and pagans and Christians the same? If so, if we see that as the old testament and Jehovah or Yahweh who is the God of Jesus Christ from the bible who says that you should not take revenge but turn the other cheek?

I would add here that there is also a difference between a punishing personal God or that you yourself would karmically hit your head against the wall because of a mistake you made yourself.

Isn't it all about balance? .. "an eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth" does NOT mean
1000 eyes for an eye, and 1000 teeth for a tooth. 😑

It is difficult to forgive people who behave like this.

The Bible uses the number seven. Seven times seven. Then I have peace, God sad. Seven is the number of karma. God finds peace in it. It teaches us God's nature. You find this number in nature so science must proof that.

The teaching is. Whether it's put into practice is something else.

There were times when Jesus did not turn the other cheek ... so the point is to contemplate the lesson, not just sit on the literal reading.

And Matthew 5:38-40? "Jesis said: But I say to you not to resist evil ... "
But Jesus clearly resists evil ...

The question is do witches take revenge?
Depends on the witch.

Do Christians take revenge?
Depends on the Christian.

Are witches and pagans and Christians the same?
Yes ... and no.

Jesus did not believe in karmas as it is commonly taught, so I am not sure ... it depends on how you see it.

I'd say nature says something about God, numbers say something about God ... but neither nature nor numbers say as much as sacra doctrina.

Epistle to the Galatians, Paul the Apostle writes: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

However, there were times when Jesus did not turn the other cheek – He could be quite sharp – He clearly had little patience with hypocrisy.

St Paul even moreso – St Paul was a battler.
