It's the idea of being sovereign leader and creator, the position of a King, so certain nonsensical, even if unaware and believing himself to be almighty. So no, a King can't be a marxist. My person isn't aware of any King who wouldn't have swear in by religions, in the name of certain God or teacher.
So such as Kingdoms and living religions are very related to each other. Neither Kings, nor holy life, nor paths to heavens or beyong in a deluded marxist "all are equal", common demo-crazy sphere.

Neither the Sublime Buddha, nor Kings of the present or past deny Gods, and good householder can be assured that there is no Asian King, not foremost devoted to Devas and Gods and seeking their assistance. Of cause the King of Thailand isn't very much devoted to practice the Dhamma, yet nevertheless a high regarded supporter of the Gems.
It's even impossible to gain the status of a King, if not related to more sublime existances, and former practice leading to such states. Kings are usually Brahmans (like most "buddhists" are), yet sometimes there are those who gain firm faith in the Juwels.

And all Noble disciples actually dwell in the sphere of the Brahmas. So it's really nonsensical to deny higher existences and powers yet telling to be a disciple... One who never entered the sphere of the Brahma is even incapable to listen to the Buddhas Dhamma. It's a basic requirment to leave sensual realms behind, yet don't go astray into the arupe-realms, since no Dhamna can be heard there, no wisdom gained.

'Not deny' is not getting into 'Acinteyyas' (Imponderables). Buddha had a different goal, to remove sorrow.

Kesamutti Sutta again. What evidence can you give me to make me believe in Gods and other realms? Unless you give me evidence, why should I believe in them? ;)

I term my Buddhism as 'Hinayana', a long forgotten word. Many consider it an abuse, I consider it as a jewel. I am a minimalist (Do with the least possible and discard the unnecessary). That is my philosophy in computers and so also in religion. I have trimmed Hinduism and Buddhism in my way, and that has removed all my doubts and made me perfectly happy.

Trimmed Hinduism and Buddhism of all fat. I engage in certain actions because they are 'dhamma' and refrain of certain actions because they are against 'dhamma', and not because it will allow me to be born in a higher realm or in better situations. Only 'dhamma' remains and nothing else.

I do not belief in never to need to reincarnate theory what is selfish.

while the cessation of suffering is a significant aspect of Buddha’s teachings, his goals extend far beyond that to include the attainment of enlightenment, the cultivation of wisdom and compassion, and the realization of ethical living. Buddha aimed to provide a comprehensive path that fosters individual growth, promotes compassion, and nurtures a deeper understanding of existence, benefiting not just individuals but all sentient beings.
