Thought to start a topic on the proper seasons of giving, taking short lasting new peace as a starter for awareness.

Crazy politic war... how ever, there are proper times of giving in need

“There are these five seasonable gifts. Which five? One gives to a newcomer. One gives to one going away. One gives to one who is ill. One gives in time of famine. One sets the first fruits of field & orchard in front of those who are virtuous. These are the five seasonable gifts.” ... Kaladana Sutta: Seasonable Gifts

Respectfully:

"Proper" sounds horribly prescriptive to my ears and smacks of a human desire for conformity.
Your quote sounds like something written many years ago which has lost its cultural relevance and become dogma.

Stupid and foolish is never respectfully.

How could my person be so foolish to talk on generosity. 20 years not a single time in this realm, that coming about a generous and faithful person. Not a single!

Pardon for the disturbance, and it's really time to total abound this realm with it's consumer, thieves, plunder and traders.

Yes, respectfully. I simply reflected on how this appears to me. I haven't called anyone stupid or foolish for their opinion. Where is the disrespect?
