My theory is very simple, but extensive.

God is plagued by his own illogical existence.

I'm 53 and since the age of 16 I KNEW instinctively that reality should not exist. This notion gave me a spaced out, giddy sensation, back then. Now, it affects me deeply. I see it as a major problem to all belief systems. No religion talks about this aspect In the Bible, God is just there: no explanation. That suffices for most.

Not me.

Religions are supposed to make sense of this world. But that falls short. And people still believe these ersatz explanations.
No religion makes sense then.

If the illogical nature of existing poses problems to me...imagine how God deals with it.
This is a mind that creates souls and the systems those souls dwell in. And God cannot switch off the notion that I SHOULD NOT EXIST. IS ANY OF THIS EVEN REAL?
WILL I SIMPLY STOP BEING REAL, SOMEDAY?

Now look at this world we live in. Marked by a deep level of IGNORANCE. We are stripped of power. If ideas of reality and logic are dangerous...then wouldn't THIS world be more than apt a world to keep us in?

To keep US and REALITY safe from the truth, by making us unable to fully realise that KILLING PHILOSOPHY, to coin a phrase. Fans of Monty Python will know where I'm coming from.

Was this accidental, or done on purpose? The Bible would have our fall as unintended. Most relgions may agree with that.
What if this DOUBT of our reality inside GOD'S powerful mind turned into us being trapped in this base world?
And what if God is now gone? Or simply less powerful? Destroyed by something comparable to an EAR WORM.
And maybe this shines some light on the devil. Maybe he is that doubt in God's mind, or an avatar of it.
And the problems in our world...the violence and corruption...are an extension of God's doubt.

Is life so hard?

I know people.with more wealth (read money) than they can possibly spend in a lifetime....yet are always complaining that this or that isnt right or the govt or some company has horrifically wronged them...that their life is so hard.

I know others who dont have a car or own a home or always enough to eat, but they have a smile, a hug, a helping hand, and will share whatever crumbs they have and think their lives are a blessing.

Be giddy my brother....i got a ripple from that! Thank you.

If life were easy no one would have anything to strive for. No one would undergo any real personal growth on any level. Life would be static and probably very unsatisfying. :)

I can't help wondering if something happened to make you think that way.

When you say "reality should not exist", do you include yourself in that?
