Baha'i and Matrixism?

No offense but it seems rather hypocritical of Baha'is to be upset at Muslims for not recognizing the validity of their religion while not recognizing the validity of Matrixism. Clearly Bahaism is an offshoot of Islam just as Matrixism is an offshoot of the Baha'i Faith.

To say that Matrixism is not related to the Baha'i Faith is like saying that the Baha'i Faith is not an Abrahamic religion.

I don't see Baha'is upset over Matrixism. Many Baha'is have seen the films and enjoyed them and for us it's entertainment.

Other movies and scifi books use religious materials .. Such as "Dune" used some Arabic and Muslim motiffs.. "Narnia" used Christian motiffs.. "Pitch Black" had Muslims if you'll recall and so did the "Chronicles of Riddick".

You can see meditation and karate moves in "Matrix" too. Doesn't mean there's any serious relationship to religion other than in a fictional way.

Simply because someone quoted an English translation of Abdul-Baha's speech in 1912 and the word "matrix" was used doesn't in my view mean that Matrixism is related to the Baha'i Faith.

Whether you want to acknowledge it or not if one reads through the posts made in this forum about Matrixism by Bahai's you can tell that many of them upset by Matrixism. Also clearly Matrixism is related to Bahaism just as Bahaism is related to Islam. Again just because you deny it doesn't mean it isn't so.

The funny part of all this is that while Bahai's do not like the fact that Muslims do not acknowledge their religion as legitimate most Bahai's do the same thing to Matrixism. I think many Baha'is would do well to look in the mirror on this one.

Sorry Dude I don't see the parallel...

Are Baha'is suppressing Matrix believers. I don't think so.

Are Baha'is seeing that Matrix believers don't get higher education?

Well many Bahai's certainly seem to be rude enough to Matrixists ridiculing them and denying the legitimacy of their religion. On top of that these Bahais appear to be threatened by Matrixism because it builds upon the Baha'i Faith just as Muslims are threatened by Baha'is because their religion builds upon Matrixism. I imagine given enough power many of these Baha'is would suppress Matrixism.

I think these Baha'is would do well to live by the moto "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

I mean how can Baha'is expect respect from the religion that has come before them when they do not respect the religion that has come after them.

Seriously Dude... It's your duty to report any disrespect, rudeness or redicule to the Moderators or the Administrator of the Forum!

Art, I don't get it. Did you write that just so you could have the last word?

Back to the matter at hand. I for one am glad to see that something new has evolved beyond the Baha'i Faith.
