Baha'i
No offense but it seems rather hypocritical of Baha'is to be upset at Muslims for not recognizing the validity of their religion while not recognizing the validity of Matrixism. Clearly Bahaism is an offshoot of Islam just as Matrixism is an offshoot of the Baha'i Faith.
To say that Matrixism is not related to the Baha'i Faith is like saying that the Baha'i Faith is not an Abrahamic religion.
I don't see Baha'is upset over Matrixism. Many Baha'is have seen the films and enjoyed them and for us it's entertainment.
Other movies and scifi books use religious materials .. Such as "Dune" used some Arabic and Muslim motiffs.. "Narnia" used Christian motiffs.. "Pitch Black" had Muslims if you'll recall and so did the "Chronicles of Riddick".
You can see meditation and karate moves in "Matrix" too. Doesn't mean there's any serious relationship to religion other than in a fictional way.
Simply because someone quoted an English translation of Abdul-Baha's speech in 1912 and the word "matrix" was used doesn't in my view mean that Matrixism is related to the Baha'i Faith.
