i'm not sure if you're saying this is your belief or what have you... however the Buddha is fairly clear on this point.

1] Samsara Occurs until nirvana is attained.

2] If nirvana is not attained ---then the "cycle of birth & death" continues again and again and again and ...

3] Each individual* has been experiencing samsara since time immemorial.

*this is what "Each individual" in Maya experiences. "Each individual" has their own accrued karma since time immemorial.

This is what Buddhism is all about.
