Late on Tursday night, I was just about to go to bed when I recieved a phone call.

I have just found out that a friend has died. He died on monday, nearly 4 days ago, no one thought to tell me until now. The funeral is tomorrow.

Whatever prayers you have to offer, please offer them for him for whatever life you believe awaits him. He was a good man.

His name is Ian, I dont know if that is important.

Hi ATF, I'm sad to hear about the death of your friend, Ian. He and you both will be in my prayers tonight.

Yeah the death of a friend or loved one is never easy, I've been to more than fair share of funerals. I'm sorry for your loss and wish your friend safe travel to the other side.

Rest assured I'll say prayers for Ian:

O my God! O Thou forgiver of sins, bestower of gifts, dispeller of afflictions!
Verily, I beseech Thee to forgive the sins of such as have abandoned the physical garment and have ascended to the spiritual world.
O my Lord! Purify them from trespasses, dispel their sorrows, and change their darkness into light. Cause them to enter the garden of happiness, cleanse them with the most pure water, and grant them to behold Thy splendors on the loftiest mount.

Best of luck to you and people who knew him, Awaiting the Fifth.

Thank you all.

The service was very emotional and difficult for me personally because it was a christian ceremony. I sat in a corner and made my own prayers and devotions, but of course, nothing was sufficient.

Arthra, I may not agree with your belief, but that was a beautiful prayer, thank you.

Dear Fifth (I have been trying to figure out a better abbrev. for you than the one for the dept. of alcohol, tobacco and firearms:) )

Anyway--I believe that I AM was listening to the prayers in your corner as much as from any corner in the world. After all, it is the heart that demands attention--I believe it was planned that way.

I know you miss your friend--go and do something in honor of him, or stay home and remember him, do something that means something to you and him. Especially something only he would know about....

InPeace,
InLove

Oh, Lord. We have so many questions. We think we have all the answers, but in reality, so few answers. We ask that you answer us, as when we face you, and show us the wonders of You.

We also raise our arms to you, and pray that you pick us up, and hold us close to your heart...for though we do not Know better, we search in earnest. Ahmen.

By the way God, I know you seem to have an affinitey for "John" named folk.

So I suspect anyone named "Ian" will catch your immediate attention. His name is Ian.
