Mystery Thread

This "receipt" has an interesting history:

It's vegetarian and can be eaten with a dairy or a pescatarian dinner (for those who separate meat and milk I'm including practicing muslims and orthodox jews in this group].)

A "receipt" that might be perfect/purrfect for those who can't/won't eat animal products:

It's a "receipt" for gazpacho pasta salad, nice for hot weather since the only cooking required is the pasta.

A "receipt" for a cool salad I had for dinner tonight that is vegetarian/vegan yet delicious enough for those who aren't:

1 (15 oz) tin each of red kidney beans, pinto beand, wax beans and green beans, drained and rinsed
1/4 c chopped onion and chopped green bell pepper
1/4 c sugar or sucralose
1/4 c white vinegar
2 T sunflower oil
1/4 t ground pepper

Mix together the vegetables in a medium size bowl. In a large bowl, mix together the dressing until thorouly combined, then add the vegetables. Gently toss, then chill until ready to serve.

I'm not sure if anyone would be interested in this "receipt" for clotted cream:

It can be used on toast/American biscuits/scones/almost anywhere one would use butter on top.

I might've posted this before, but it doesn't matter...

Puff Pancake

1/2 c. milk
2 eggs
3 T. sugar or sugar substitute
1/8 t. cinnamon
1/2 c. flour
2 T. butter or margarine

Preheat oven to 425° F.

Mix the first five ingredients thoroughly.
Melt butter in a 9" pan (I use a skillet) and pour the batter into pan.
Bake for 18 minutes.

Like the old Lay's potato chips commercial's tagline, you cannot eat just one (serving.)

A "receipt" that might be perfect/"purrfect" for chiliheads:

In case it's taken down, it's the"receipt" for deviled blondies, using gochujang (Korean chili paste.)
