AbdAlRahman Stated:
And people beleaved it since the bible never said that the bible is the last book or neither Jesus say hes the last prophet of God , some people told me that jesus befour dying he said something about his messege is finished something like i cant remember the verse , but it doesent really say that God is finished or that there will be no prophet after Jesus or another book after the bible.
I believe the verse you are looking for is:
John 19:28-30
28 After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the Scripture might be fulfilled, said, "I thirst!" 29 Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to His mouth. 30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said,
"It is finished!" And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.
NKJV
In a sense his message is finished, but still being delivered. Abdal his message was amessage of Love From God To mankind.... Obzerve:
John 3:16-18
16 For God
so loved the world that He gave
His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God
did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18
He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
NKJV
Who is he it is mentioned earlier in the same book:
John 1:1-18
1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light which gives light to every man coming into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made through Him, and the world did not know Him. 11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, "This was He of whom I said, 'He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.' " 16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and
truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.
NKJV
This was his message: I believe... I could be mistaken the Quran speaks of the fall in the Garden.... Adam and Eve? Where they sin and eat of the Fruit of the Tree of the knowledge of good and evil? Their was some proohecies mad about Christ in these same story, and all through the Bible as well as others.
Gen 3:15
15 And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel."
NKJV
Isa 53:1-10
53:1
Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed? 2 For He shall grow up before Him as a tender plant,And as a root out of dry ground. He has no form or comeliness; And when we see Him,There is no beauty that we should desire Him. 3 He is despised and rejected by men,A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
4 Surely He has borne our griefs And carried our sorrows;Yet we esteemed Him stricken,Smitten by God, and afflicted. 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,And
by His stripes we are healed. 6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way;And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed and He was afflicted,Yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,So He opened not His mouth. 8 He was taken from prison and from judgment,And who will declare His generation? For He was cut off from the land of the living; For the transgressions of My people He was stricken. 9 And they made His grave with the wicked--But with the rich at His death,Because He had done no violence,Nor was any deceit in His mouth.
10 Yet it
pleased the LORD to bruise Him;He has put Him to grief. When You make His soul an offering for sin,He shall see His seed, He shall prolong His days,And the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in His hand.
NKJV
(((( This of course was speaking of Christ Crucifiction)))))
John 8:56-58
56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad." 57 Then the Jews said to Him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?" 58 Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was,
I AM."
NKJV
Anyways I could go on but their is to many...... But Am I correct does the Quran speak of Adam and Eve and the fall in the garden???
Back on my point When Jesus said it was Finished he was speaking of the Fullfillment of the law, and Prophets.... As well the message of Love sent by God to us. As for the fullfil ment of the law we no longer have to sacrifice animlas and such just devote our lifes to him in servanthood..... And as far as prophecies he fullfilled well over hundreds... Maybe someone knows the number of prophecies he fullfilled. I know its well over a hundred alone.
Anyways hope this helps....
God bless
