hello all-

just a note to express my apologies for dropping off the face of the forum several years ago. had a detour into poverty (becoming a caretaker for my mother on an island off the coast of maine) which forced me to go offline rather abruptly. i participated for a short stint with a member column under the okie's. i am in the process of legalities selling property, etc, so i do not know my immediate future's logistics...therefor i will just take my seat on the couch and watch the activities of this wonderful site.

best regards,
dc vision

Hello dc--good to see you around again. You've been missed. Hope your fortune turns around soon and that all goes well as possible.

cheers,

Autumn Matriarch

the tears
and leaves
and crows
find their autumn courses
inside the vigil room
and outside
over blue hill bay
my breaths
unconsciously
matching your's
in this
the dawning of the day
drawn within
the final hours of your life

of burdens and walls
this lessening
of the need to do
anything
but be with each other
you in the hospital bed
and me at the window
i've nothing left
but the sensual
how this transition feels
from our intimate
and present
points of view

seven breaths
the space between each
stretching out to meet
the morning sun
the impatient crows
the mourning son
and the falling leaves
all with our own
signature
volume setting
of silence

Nice to see you back, DC Vision. :)

Had wondered where you'd gone and tried to e-mail, but I appreciate that life takes us in different directions.

Anyway, feel free to try to settle in and relax where you can. :)

many thanks to you both. oddly enough, it took the internet to make the house feel less empty.
