Welcome to CR Zaakir ;) I never heard of Muhammad not being a prophet. But I can tell you no where in the Bible does Jesus order the death of anyone. He does instruct his Disciples to go out and preach the good news, but if it is rejected, then they are to leave the house or the town and shake the dust off of the soles of their sandals as they leave.

What you read is
The Parable of the Ten Minas

Jesus, was telling a story to the people of what the the "Nobleman" did to his servants, and those who refused his reign. What Jeus is describing is how things will be in the end times. His message is that we are to be good stewards of our riches and talents and spiritual wealth. And for those who refuse Him, in the end times, He will have them destroyed.

Hope that helps.

Here is a list of all the places in the Gospels where the word "kill" or "killed" is used. As you can see, nowhere does it say that Jesus ordered anyone to be killed. He talks about those who claim to know God, but who actually do not know God, as being guilty of wrongfully killing the prophets, and that they would continue to wrongfully kill disciples of God in the future because they love unrighteousness and wrongdoing more than they love God and righteousness.

il have alook through but i found aplace where jesus said this in the injil...gospel...which has been corrupted overtime...if somebody is disopbeying god and fights against your religion...dont you go to war...such as crusades?people mistake this meeing in islam as jihad....i used to be a christian ...and come from a strict christian family....but i will find the details for you...as parts are mistaken and corrupted and the whole killing thing happend through the past...nothing whatever to do with the prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

Actually you who are not Christian, can not say that the Gospel is corrupt. That would be like me declaring the Qu'ran is a joke...

based on what? your personal perspective? Furthermore, your assumptions declared only infuriate Christians.

This is not good, and if you want to post in the Christian forum...you had better become a bit more contrite (if not respectful).

Your call.

Kindest Regards, Zaakir, welcome to CR!

To begin, while this may be your understanding, I assure, it is not correct, and it most certainly is not the typical Christian's understanding. Further, such a blatant attack on one's religion in this forum, in the walled garden set aside for that religion, is most inappropriate. There are two things that are quite disrespectful here. One is trying to convert others in their own place here. The other is going into another's place and telling them they are wrong.

What you have written here would be the same as if I were to go to the Islam board and tell how the Koran is corrupted over time, that scholars know this and have proven it, that the people who follow the Koran do not know what they are talking about...You do see where this would be most inappropriate, do you not? In short, any further posts of this attacking nature will be removed. You are free to ask questions as a guest in a friend's home. Do not tell your friend he is a brainless idiot and a fool for believing as he does, he will throw you out of his house. And who could blame your friend for doing so?

Good thing it wasn't the other way around...Muslims kill those who convert to Christianity, isn't that right? ;)

lolroflmao...

the Quran states clearly...if a man kills another man it will be asif he has killed the whole of mankind....if a man saves another man its asif he saved the whole of mankind....
Muslims do not kill Muslims who convert to Christianity atall..i think that was pathetic for you to try a get a sly dig! We can only help that person to see the light again...if they dont the it is up to Allah, whatever he decided to do with them now...or after death...
can someone help me in finding where in the old testament it says the messiah will be the son of god because its strange but i can only find it in the new testament...in the old testament

Isaiah 7
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign. Behold a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel.

also calling god the father means he is male right?

john 2....states earlier...the son of god hath said
22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed: and they that commit adultery with her shall be in very great tribulation, except they do penance from their deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am he that searcheth the reins and hearts, and I will give to every one of you according to your works.

when i was Christian something I later thought about was this…when god came to earth…surely that is enough? But why send another prophet at the time as him…john?…can someone explain this to me please

And I think it is pathetic of you to boldly tell a lie.

The case of Abdul Rahman

1) ‘If it had been the will of your Lord that all the people of the world should be believers, all the people of the earth would have believed! Would you then compel mankind against their will to believe?’ (10:99)
2) ‘(O Prophet) proclaim: 'This is the Truth from your Lord. Now let him who will, believe in it, and him who will, deny it.'’ (18:29)
3) ‘If they turn away from thee (O Muhammad) they should know that We have not sent you to be their keeper. Your only duty is to convey My message.’ (42:48)
4) ‘Let there be no compulsion in religion.’ (2:256)

Let us look at Noble Verse 3:90 "But those who reject faith after they accepted it, and then go on adding to their defiance of faith never will their repentance be accepted; for they are those who have (of set purpose) gone astray."

Conversion a thorny issue in Muslim world
By Rachel Morarjee and Dan Murphy
KABUL, AFGHANISTAN; AND CAIRO – Under pressure from the US, the Vatican, and other Western leaders, Afghanistan's fledgling democracy Sunday sidestepped a politically charged case in which prosecutors had sought the death penalty for a Muslim man who converted to Christianity.

Rather than pass judgment on Abdul Rahman, an Afghan who converted while living abroad 16 years ago, the court declared him mentally unfit for trial Sunday. "He is a sick person," said Mohammed Eshaq Aloko, Afghanistan's deputy attorney general. Afghan officials said Mr. Rahman would be transferred to a hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

Afghanistan is a deeply conservative country where 99 percent of the population is Muslim and an estimated 10,000 Christians can practice only in secret. Out on the street, many ordinary Afghans chimed in with the mullahs calling out at Friday prayers for Abdul Rahman to be put to death.

"The order of God is execution for this person and no one can change it. This person has denied God and the Koran and he should be punished in a way that will stop other Muslims from converting," said Sayed Saber, a 32-year-old in Kabul.

Most mainstream schools of Islamic jurisprudence call for converts to be executed. Though the Koran promises only hellfire for apostates and also says "there should be no compunction in religion,'' Islamic jurists have typically argued that execution is mandated, citing stories of comments made by the prophet Muhammad.

"The prophet Muhammad said that anyone who rejects Islam for another religion should be executed," said Mr. Mawlavezada, the judge.

Muslim clerics call for execution of Christian convert in Afghanistan
Lisl Brunner at 7:43 AM ET

Leading Muslim clerics have urged that Afghanistan ignore international pressure and execute Abdul Rahman for converting from Islam to Christianity. "The people will kill him if he is freed," declared the chief cleric of a Kabul mosque, and Abdul Raoulf, chief of the Afghan Ulama Council added that "we will call on the people to pull him to pieces."

I suppose one could argue that this is all a Western invention, designed to cast an unfavorable light on Islam. If so, then it is a conspiracy that reaches around the world, and it is only in certain segments of Islamic communities that denial of the reports is underway. Some liberal Muslims, according to the report, are calling for calmer heads and looser interpretation of Sharia, but they are the minority, they are ignored, and they are not in positions of power and are unable to influence the people.

A person risks their very life to be a Christian in a Muslim country. This story is only one case. There are many, many more.

the Quran states clearly...if a man kills another man it will be asif he has killed the whole of mankind....if a man saves another man its asif he saved the whole of mankind....
Then mankind has been murdered many many times by Muslims alone, not counting anybody else. When charity aid workers are abducted and beheaded, not for being soldiers, but for being American and Christian, sayings like this you quote are meaningless, to both sides. You may say the words, but the words lie, and lying words mean nothing to me.
