I like your insertion of the 'verified' get-out clause though, pretty well indicates where you're coming from.

We've got no 'verified' eye witnesses to Julius Caesar, Cleopatra, Plato, Aristotle, you name it, we've got no 'verified' eye witnesses to my dad, if you decide for some reason to assume the witness I can produce is 'unreliable' or serving some agenda.

That's the whole point, Wil.

If we had the kind of empirical evidence you require, then we'd have no choice but believe, and then we'd have people bleating about being treated like kids.

Maybe God is very clever by not boxing you into a corner, but allowing you the freedom to make your own choices ... to be human ... to be free.

Which Cleopatra? oh the Seventh? again... records were kept before and after these leaders... Plato? Again he was involved with politics, philosophy to such an extent that there are records of his discussions and being places...

Jesus on the other hand....well you know... and you also know I am not saying he didn't exist...I am simply saying we don't have the evidence....but as you also know this game has been played out many times...and the score is always the same....

When god created the universe he used his voice...sound ...which has a vibration that is energy

God is the source from which everything that exists comes from. My own preference is to call it, the primordial energy(or truth).
The way I do experience it is by meditation, or to be more exact, by turning my senses inward. The inner light, sounds, taste and feeling are just wonderful and give me the sense of a universal love and the desire to be with this love all the time.

Light is the male aspect, consciousness.
Sound is the female aspect, sound.

Shiva is called the Lord of Om, the drummer.
He is also called consciousness, the light, dancer.

She is his desire.

Why he dances... life, experience.

Intimacy, all human endeavor shows something else.
Another aspect of consciousness, another object of curiosity.

Does god speak to me: I am of the opinion that god is and always has been a personal god. Satan is also personal. They each are within. It is our choice to choose which direction we take. So I suppose, in a manner of speaking, both god and satan speak to us all.
