'Natural family' called derogatory/Dis' a gay go to jail

Re: 'Natural family' called derogatory to 'gays'

I want to see some references. BlaznFattyz, I know this isn't your quote, it's from the article you are citing, but I have no clue what this is referring to. I suspect the author of the article doesn't either.
i imagine the reference is to legalized prostitution in amsterdam.

Can't edit anymore, but I want to add that the criticism comes from politicians in formal debate and informal quotes, as well as from the media and everyday people. I see absolutely nothing to indicate that prostitutes, pimps, or those who visit prostitutes are "protected classes" that "cannot be criticized".

The author of the article could, at a stretch, possibly be referring to the uproar a few years ago, when a very high-profile imam wrote and published in an official guidebook for his followers that homosexuals were lower than pigs and believers should drop them head-first from the highest possible tower. His book was withdrawn from circulation, and he is no longer allowed to preach, but that was under a law having to do with "inciting to violence and riot". The result would have been the same had he said that about any other group or individual whatsoever - it was what he said, not whom he said it about, that was the problem. Again, believe me, there is plenty of criticism about homosexuality in this country, too.

sheesh, man, lighten up... u do seem to have a bee in ur bonnet about homos, though, blazn... <admin edit, -jt3>

*Kindest Regards, Francis.

I am pretty sure you have seen the trouble we have been having recently on this board. I'm not sure how goading others and antagonizing them will help with the issue. It would be a great assistance to help with the problem rather than contributing to it. Thanks, -jt3*

You acknowledge it as a sin though... and were repentant..

Do homosexuals generally consider their lifestyle as sinful that needs repenting of?

Its the attitude towards God thats the problem.. they sin willfully with a rebelliousness that they are as "Good As You" just as they are.. while you and I know we are adulterers and fornicators and have asked Christ to forgive us.

I don't know about all people who call themselves Homosexual. But my own brother in-law tried to kill himself, when younger because he felt he was homosexual, and later AIDS finished the job. I'd say he felt tortured about something...

I suspect we don't need to add fuel to the fire within eachother...we each have our own demons to battle...

no, most homosexuals do not see their sexuality as sinful- I feel maybe Quahom, that ur brother in law tried to kill himself becuase he was suffering from the same thing a lot of gay ppl suffer from- felling unacceptable in the eyes of some sections of society purely becuase he is gay... I would not like to "come out" if I was born into a hardline xtian family, and potentially lose their support, or come out as gay and find that my family rejected me and veiwed me as disgusting and distasteful etc, etc... instead of focusing on sexuality, maybe xtians should instead focus on the good points of the queer brothers and sisters...

That very well may be, for some others. Except he, wasn't born into hard line religious family, nor was he un accpected. But he, even tried to get married to "break the vise" he felt himself in.

And finally, He, told me why he tried to kill himself...
