which part...which line don't you like? Reading it, hearing it in my mind brings joy, happiness and hope to my heart.

I think the most objectionable to most was "no religion too" exactly what use would religion have in heaven?

No.. Im here to learn.. Its a character building experience. I was born when I told Jesus I was a sinner and I needed Him to be my Lord and Savior. All the stuff that came before was nothing.. Now Im growing up in a sense Im in school and one day I get to go home.

Now see, that is mucked up. You could not have gotten to where you are, without coming from where you were. Fresh start does not mean what was before is no longer. It only means what was before is not as important, (ok, negligible).

But we come from our roots. Paul is a perfect example. There is nothing in him that is changed, but his heart. And he draws upon his past experiences in order to fulfill his heart and will.
 
You cant subtract from life. Lesson not lessen. S**t is the compost we get most growth from. Erm thats it :)

This is powerful, I think most of us need our time in the desert...in the wilderness...for some it is 40 days, for others 40 years, but for all of us it is four square...we need to have closure to that event and move on...

Paul didn't change?? His saying is one of my mantras "I die daily" that metamorphisis of eliminating portions of the old self that hang on...and constantly being resurrected...born anew...

When Adam failed in paradise, sin brought sorrow into the world, and that made the world a hard place. Sin brought death into the world: if Adam had not sinned, he would not have died. He gave way to temptation, however our Savior withstood it. Jesus triumphed in the desert. Death came in with sin , but He became obedient unto death, covering with His blood our death sentence.

Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, everyone is cursed who hangs on a tree.) Galatians 3:13

I am in no way saying that Christ’s sacrifice takes away the curse of Adam and Eve from us (pain in child birth and having to toil for little).I am saying that we should use this time on earth productively and enjoy what He has created.

John 12:35-36 NKJV`
Then Jesus said to them, “A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness does not know where he is going. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.”

I completely understand and share the anticipation of meeting Jesus face to face and losing this fleshly shell. For the time being, I will do what He commands.

Disease and famine are not of God.

I usually agree with you and Faithful, this time I don’t.

You know, that is the irony of life. For those who have been "Christian" most their lives, it is a given. But for the late bloomers, it seems to be an expectation. Kind of like the prodigal son and his brother, I should think. No, wait, reverse that, and add "attitude" to the prodigal.

I am not asking anyone to agree with me.

I do what Christ commands on a daily basis. Show me one place he said Im to enjoy this world. Sorry it is not there. Yes I work and do the best I can and teach my children about life and God and how they should act. Yes I sin*believe it or not Wil*:) .

I still stand by what I said this world right now is not what God intended for us. Lets see less than 7 days we had a mass murder at VT and a guy go kill someone at Kennedy Space Center. That does not even take into the thousands a day that died from famine, disease, drugs, the single murders, suicide bombers and so forth etc.
Do you really think this is what God intended for us? Yes I go through life just waiting on his return. I also enjoy the time I have with my family and the beauty I can see in the world when I look for it. My soul tells me daily that this is not where we should be and it will soon change.
