Now for my bud Scarlet who is probably busy running around Europe doing something really exciting and interesting and won't see this greeting for a month or so....

I looked through my smiley box, but found no opera singers. I am appalled, to say the least! But I have tried to do my best to bring you some classical entertainment, nonetheless. I dunno, though...the reviews have started coming in, and they don't look so good.

Oh well, I think there may be some chocolate petit fours on the dessert tray, and, of course, I made you a mojito. Enjoy your day!​

Just a note of apology here to my last three July birthday people--forgive me, please! I posted for your birthdays a day early because I won't be able to post tomorrow. Only problem is I forgot to tell you that.

Speaking of reading, I do know that you are a writer. Most writers like to read, so I got you a book. In case you can't tell, it is a rather small but apparently spellbinding poetry collection.

I need to send this out a day early because I've got guests coming for the weekend and I'm not sure if I will have the opportunity to log in much over the next couple of days.

The cakes I ordered at the beginning of July look a bit stale, so I decided it was time to make another one. (I hope the design isn't too "flowery" nor the sentiment too sappy! To be honest, I did have some help. So I have provided credit where it is due in the link below. They were the only ones I could find with the available letters I needed to spell the name, heh-heh. Sorry about any smudges--I am new at virtual cake decoration. )

thank you, InLove, for the birthday greetings! I'm very proud of myself, I saw it in considerably less than a month! The petit fours and the mojito were lovely, and the smiley reminds me of my neighbours when I practice at home ([Bugs Bunny voice]Huh...music haters[/Bugs Bunny voice]).
