I've missed this place

hello gatekeeper,

were you known under a different name before? if so welcome back!

Yup, I've been here before, Leo. Does "Cage" or "-James-" ring a bell? I switched PC's and IP's recently, so I decided to switch my SN as well, lol.:p

Thanks for the welcome back. :)

What happened to the liberal Christianity board? Have we finally merged? Woot woot! :)

Wil, Snoop, Flow . . . Missed you all!

Sorry bout the Avy, Snoop. I plan on keeping this one for a while, so . . .

Hey, guess what? I was baptized last month! Yup, they had to dunk me twice just to wash off the filth. ;)

praise God! amazing. that is something i often ask myself. "what keeps me from getting baptized?" well, let God's Will be done and not mine. how did it feel? is everything different? are you closer to God?

Everything is different, yet the same, Leo. I don't feel much different, but I know that my past is no longer an issue. (Thank God) I have found that since the babtism, I am noticing trials a bit more, but I have also found it to be easier to overcome them. I think this has more to do with my commitment, than anything else, though.

Great to talk with you, Leo. . .

"Take me to the river...
Wash me in the water..." Rev. Al Green

Somehow now the ritual, or even a mention of it, reminds me of a memorable scene in the Coen Brothers film, Oh Brother Where Art Thou ?
Truly a film worth watching over and over again.

flow....:p

I've never read the book, but it is one that has been mentioned on several occassions. One individual compared it to the Bible, lol. Of course this cats an atheist, and has no interest in religion at all. He was pretty keen on myths and legends, though.

Hey, James! Been wondering where you went off to!

Welcome back.:)

InPeace,
InLove
