Job 38:1-7 ....
1 And Jehovah proceeded to answer Job out of the windstorm and say:
2 "Who is this that is obscuring counsel by words without knowledge?
3 Gird up your loins, please, like an able-bodied man, And let me question you, and you inform me.
4 Where did you happen to be when I founded the earth ? Tell [me], if you do know understanding.
5 Who set its measurements, in case you know, Or who stretched out upon it the measuring line ?
6 Into what have its socket pedestals been sunk down, Or who laid its cornerstone,
7 When the morning stars joyfully cried out together, And all the sons of God began shouting in applause ?
This is the start of a poetical discourse that Jehovah gives to Job, showing us his creative power, his omniscient knowledge, and the glory that the other spirit beings give to him when they see the amazing tangible creations that he has made. Also it highlights the seeming insignificance of man to everything made, yet in the same breath Jehovah shows that man is not truly insignificant to He, the creator, or forgotten, as with Job he was greatly rewarded for his integrity..... A hope for all those that hold out against persecutions in the name of Jehovah God. It illustrates Gods love, and that God is love....A lesson given by the Father to us, his children.1 And Jehovah proceeded to answer Job out of the windstorm and say:
2 "Who is this that is obscuring counsel by words without knowledge?
3 Gird up your loins, please, like an able-bodied man, And let me question you, and you inform me.
4 Where did you happen to be when I founded the earth ? Tell [me], if you do know understanding.
5 Who set its measurements, in case you know, Or who stretched out upon it the measuring line ?
6 Into what have its socket pedestals been sunk down, Or who laid its cornerstone,
7 When the morning stars joyfully cried out together, And all the sons of God began shouting in applause ?
It also gives an insight into the creation apart from the account in Genesis, and the rest of the chapters show the workings of Gods natural laws by way of his creative power.
There are many beautiful scriptures, but these final chapters of Job have a ring to them, as they are directly from the voice of Jehovah God.
