Jesus: What happens now?

on another site a youngster asked a question that is quite socaratic (self defining) since there is no answer other than opinion.

if Jesus died from my sins, what happens now? (he didn't stay dead)

Now is that child thinking and really wanting to know without any one ever ruining his thought process?

personally I dont know if it was serious or someone was being a smartass...

to answer the question in case it was an honest question.

death was a result of sin (Adams) Jesus died for those sins (for everyone) and rose from the dead because he defeated death (consequences of Adams sin)

That is why, just as through one man(adam) sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned—. romans 5;12

For since death is through a man,(adam) resurrection of the dead is also through a man. (Jesus) 1 corinthians 15;21

For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive.
1 corinthians 15;22

As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.
(or is to be destroyed)
(is being made ineffective.)
1 corinthians 15;26

The hope of endless life was a major theme of Jesus’ preaching. His faithful follower Peter once said to him: "You have sayings of everlasting life." (John 6:68)

Jesus said: "God loved the world so much that he gave his only-begotten Son, in order that everyone exercising faith in him might not be destroyed but have everlasting life." (John 3:16) How long you will live, therefore, depends on how you respond to God’s love.

On one occasion, Jesus said: "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)

approach to God is through Jesus because Jehovah has seen fit to give his Son the most important role. The Father has made him the central, or key, figure in the outworking of all of His purposes.

Follow Him ...

Thomas

the comment shared the depth of reasoning now existing.

the complacency to knowledge is losing its hold on the new generations

'follow him' .......... it absolutely beautiful as they are our future.....

THE GREAT DAY OF JEHOVAH IS NEAR ,
humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God,

And as ZEPHENIAH 2;3 says

seek Jehovah, all YOU meek ones of the earth, who have practiced His own judicial decision. Seek righteousness, seek meekness. Probably YOU may be concealed in the day of Jehovah’s anger.

Are you Panenthiestic?

since all your God is based in magical beliefs of faith, I have little doubt that he is pissed at all the fibs you continue.

If jesus died for our sins, and didn't stay dead.............. What happens now?

Write the answer.

No need to convince me; that question is how the children are beginning to think.

They want the truth

Are you trying to convolute logic based reason with faith (spirit) based wisdom?

Are you willing and able to hear the answer if it is offered?

This was a question from another that cannot be answered.

All anyone can do is suggest a scripture and we have the Mee me for that even when he does not realize most everyone in the west has the same material that can be found in any hotel room drawer. Like a preschool child showing colors and shapes.

but the truth is often hard to accept when it contradicts what we are told is true... i.e...... faith/hope are the only answers that can be presented in any defense as reality shares, that nothing said such as the undoing of sins has ever in all of existence occurred.

'What happens now' is that either growth and evolution continues or when the judgment occurs, the liars of faith and hope will be decimated to extinction.

and like I always suggest; each make their own choices!

Please.....

mee does realize that most people do have a bible, not only in hotel rooms but at their own home .
but the sad fact is those bibles are never got off the shelf or out of the attic to be read.
the bible is like a letter from God and it gives us the answers to many questions and it is very good :)2 timothy 3;16-17

James 1:26
If any one doth think to be religious among you, not bridling his tongue, but deceiving his heart, of this one vain [is] the religion;

Did you forget to read that line?

Meaning to decieve what is true based on a belief is a sign of the Mee Me in mankind; ignorant!

Did you forget to read that line?

Meaning to decieve what is true based on a belief is a sign of the Mee Me in mankind; ignorant!

If any man seems to himself to be a formal worshiper and yet does not bridle his tongue, but goes on deceiving his own heart, this man’s form of worship is futile. James 1;26

These words show that how you use your tongue is a serious matter.

it affects your very relationship with Jehovah God.

the better we train, or control, our tongue, the more useful it will be.

Considerate words can soothe and encourage others and as PROVERBS 12;18 says

There exists the one speaking thoughtlessly as with the stabs of a sword, but the tongue of the wise ones is a healing.PROVERBS 12;18

its good for all to take in the words of the bible .
The bible warns ,Keep a guard over your . . . tongue and keep yourself out of trouble," (Proverbs 21:23, The New English Bible)

the Bible reminds Christians that their speech cannot be separated from their worship.

We would be deceiving ourselves if we thought that God is pleased with our worship if we slander others, tell lies, or misuse the tongue in other ways. (Leviticus 19:16; Ephesians 4:25)

The tongue can be a smoldering fire. It can be a sword. Backbiting is forbidden in my religion because of its destructiveness of unity. Courtesy is described as the prince of virtues. May our tongues be adorned with courtesy.

very true :) it can be used for good or bad , its better when it is used for good things

Such is the strength of this little member, our tongue, that can spot up all the body. (James 3:5-9) Wise we are to guard the tongue.
