who remembers donovan ? this song in a way is very inline with the bible because the orders of people from all different religions nolonger come from the ALLMIGHTY they come from here and there . not from God . and as we all know Jesus said not to take up arms , but people do there own thing dont they . here is an old video of DonOvan singing the UNIVERSAL SOLDIER.

Oh whoop de doop.... lol This a contest? Good and Love are limitless and it's value impossible to put a price on... So a smile, a donation to a worthy cause, a pat on the back, a shoulder to lean on, a lift home, a helping hand, whatever they are all great. Godlike... ;)
 
I only just got home on my own computers so I can listen to that song now.... Man wow, it is pretty awesome.... I LOVE! How they are all going crazy like maniacs and you can hardly hear the song, and then halfway through it right to the end there is like an aura of awe and this stunning silence... I smiled.
 
It was a sin to pledge allegiance to a flag... the idol of a government. As a child, no less. I see today the sin is a disgrace to the people, to God, and to whoever pledged it. I declare my pledge null and void.

its true though isnt it, people from all different religions do not listen to the orders from above(GOD) learning war nomore is the best way and that is what people should be doing , but what do we see , the orders of men instead .

so the question is ,

is there a people of any one religion who are willing to be taught the right way with no learning of war in sight .

yes as we know there would be individuals all over the world that would not take up arms ,but is there a religion who is known all over the world as a people who do not learn war any more ? seek and you will find

yes as i mentioned ,individuals from different religious beliefs or even not from any religion have as individuals not taken up arms . but when we think about what Jesus said to his followers what religion as a whole is still listening to Jesus instructions . seek and you will find:)
Jesus explained that his Kingdom was no part of the world. By his example, he trained his followers to keep out of the political fights of the day and to focus instead on preaching the good news of God’s Kingdom. (John 17:16; 18:36)

He taught a powerful lesson regarding neutrality when the mob came to arrest him. Peter sprang into action, impulsively swinging his sword and injuring a man.

It is easy to sympathize with Peter. If ever violence might have seemed justified, it was on that night, when God’s innocent Son was attacked.

Yet, Jesus then set the standard for his earthly followers down to this day: "Return your sword to its place, for all those who take the sword will perish by the sword." (Matthew 26:51-54)

For Christ’s followers, maintaining such a peaceful stand surely took courage then, as it would today.

As a result of their Christian neutrality, God’s people today would have a clean record when it comes to the countless modern-day wars, holocausts, riots, and similar acts of violence.

LEARNING Peace Instead of War

Lasting peace can never be established while people are learning to kill. Many centuries ago, the prophet Isaiah wrote: "If only you would actually pay attention to [God’s] commandments! Then your peace would become just like a river." (Isaiah 48:17, 18) ​

Bible education promotes true peace


HOW often rulers, generals, and even clergy have declared or endorsed war in the name of God! :( which brings to mind this verse in 2 timothy
3;5

having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power;


its much better to be taught by Jehovah , then we do not learn war any more .



And it must occur in the final part of the days [that] the mountain of the house of Jehovah will become firmly established above the top of the mountains, and it will certainly be lifted up above the hills; and to it peoples must stream.


And many nations will certainly go and say: "Come, YOU people, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will instruct us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths." For out of Zion law will go forth, and the word of Jehovah out of Jerusalem.

And he will certainly render judgment among many peoples, and set matters straight respecting mighty nations far away. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. They will not lift up sword, nation against nation, neither will they learn war anymore.

And they will actually sit, each one under his vine and under his fig tree, and there will be no one making [them] tremble; for the very mouth of Jehovah of armies has spoken [it]. micah 4;1-4


that is happening even now for some who are willing to be taught by Jehovah.

but it will be good when the whole earth is taght by Jehovah


Jehovah causes to become .:)


And as Jesus said in the model prayer",YOU must pray, then, this way:
"‘Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also upon earth. ​


matthew 6;9-10​



And all your sons will be taught by Jehovah

as Isaiah 54:13 says: "All your sons will be persons taught by Jehovah, and the peace of your sons will be abundant."
