(Belated) Happy Veterans Day

I say "belated" because it's already the 12th for some of you. Just got back from taking some time in the campus Veterans office (gave the student who usually worked there some time with family, but refused to take any credit for it.)

Hug a veteran today or spend some time with a "forgotten" veteran if you can.

Hug a veteran today or spend some time with a "forgotten" veteran if you can.

Bit tricky seeing all WWI veterans on this island are now dead.

Not sure "happy" is the best of words to describe the day either.... But each to their own I guess.

It doesn't have to be someone who served during WWII. Anyone who has served is a candidate, including those who have served in Iraq or Afghanistan.
