dreams

I had weird dream the other night about a Christian Friend of mine, I dreamt he prayed for us all and I was slain in the spirit and then we all ran away from him, in my dream he drew in power from the surroundings and then released he thought it was Jesus

Then we went up to the nxt level in the resturaunt which was more of a bar where everyone was smoking as an ex smoker I was tempted to smoke.

We then went part way up to the next level which had bouncers on the door, i heard them say let people in but dont let anyone out, so we decided not to go in, they spotted us, then the alarms when off and like a security lock down and an announcement came over the speakers that they were being infiltrated by dwarfs or midgets, then me and my colleague managed to get away.

different sort of dream I know, what do you think it means ?

Whatever you ate before you went to bed....

well... dont ever eat it before bed again.

Well, tea cup, it sounds like a bad bit of beef to me.
So what does that have to do with the OP?
I was not wanting to discuss dreams in general, or strange ones, but "dreams that inspire".

What dreams move and inspire you?
I live to live comfortably physically, mentallly, spiritually, financially and assist others on the same path...

The kids being in their teens I am comfortable today if I was gone tomorrow they are prepared for life...to be able to make decisions along the same lines as the above.

As they head off to college my dream is that my thought evovles, that I take on a peace corp type project somewhere...that I expand my horizons so I may learn and play with others...

My ego enjoys it emmensely when kids I've had in Sunday School class come back and express appreciation for something they learned...something that assisted them in school, in college or in life...something that made them breathe easier when folks around them saw turmoil.

None of my dreams inspire, they are simply randomly picked parts of data from the mind... Thrown into a bag shaken up and poured out... And you then have: A dream. A story which has no meaning. It is simply just random memories, random knowledge and random experiences (mostly experiences from the day before the sleep.) Put together.

If I were inspired by my dreams I'd be concerned.

Oh... You're talking about aspirations, not dreams..... Nevermind my post then.

People who agaisnt all odds come out on top lol they are inspiring to me. Example eerrr cancer survivors and soldiers in a fox hole pinned down..... Also tragic ending heroes.... lol They inspire me... Has to end in tragedy... To get full impact... Stanley 'Tookie' Williams, perfect example.

I'm really inspired by people who live out their passion- who know themselves and become dedicated to something. It's not that I think everyone should be this way, but I find it inspiring, and it's what unifies so many people that have brought me that sense... artists, activists, scientists... that unswerving devotion to their greater sense of purpose.

I'm inspired by dreams of peace, harmonious existence with all beings, sustainability, justice, and cooperative/collaborative society. I'm inspired by humans reaching their potential, not from trying to get away from what we are, but from knowing how to use what we are for a higher good. I'm inspired by the balance, the beauty of chaos and order, the power inherent in nature. I'm inspired by my horses' grace and the still presence of trees and the cold fire of starlight.

I'm inspired by people who can be themselves, completely, confidently, and without regret, even if who they are is against the norm. Maybe especially then.

I'm inspired by people that work out a set of principals, and then stick to them, regardless of society's conception of right and wrong (especially when society is full of it).

I'm inspired by my muses, by the characters in my head, and their willingness to jump onto the page.

I'm inspired by people who go without so others don't have to.

I'm inspired by people who can do constructive things, like fix cars, build things, pick locks lol, put random stuff together into something useful.

I'm inspired by dogs, and their unconditional love, and cats, with their unwavering curiosity and wonder at simple things like an ice maker. :p

So many things... can't type em all out, but methinks this is good for now.
