Perhaps it helps to use miracle (not capitalized) for the wonder of how reality works, and Miracle (capitalized) for those times when an event has broken the rules of reality. An easy way to differentiate which one you are referring to.
Completely agree with this. The empirical sciences will never be able to reproduce miracles in laboratory conditions, or in any other form either for that matter. Miracles are not simply unexplained physical phenomena. They are events that break the code upon which reality runs.
This is a whole nuther can of worms.
People coping with repressed memories of terrible events can have a brutal row to hoe. The mind itself that has been altered through physical and/or emotional trauma.
But again, this is a specialized situation and not the average person's brain...
I find it all rather circular reasoning. No matter which god is 'your' god, everyone else's god is in actuality channeling your god. So JC is the ultimate funnel that christians believe every other religion flows through. And other religions believe their god/prophet/whatever is the funnel that...
I disagree. For those interested, all the back story is here in this thread. If we go beyond guilt to dealing with all emotions it is a natural progression from where we have been.
