I wonder how many of those incarcerated, came to faith while serving their sentence? I've not seen any stats or anything, but I do have personal knowledge of a few where that was the case, whom are now quite devout.

Not all Christians interpret scripture the same way. There are core beliefs we all tend to share, but beyond that, much is subject to individual interpretation. Doesn't mean one is right and the other wrong though, just that we all see the world through our own eyes and experience.

If you're talking strictly Christian teachings, that normally goes on the Christian Board or in the Abrahamic Religions section. If you are comparing Christian teachings to non Abrahamic faiths, then Comparative studies may be more appropriate. Not that critical though, we can always move it...
