Hi from Longfellow

@Longfellow
I've had a look. There is a lot of material here. But the problem is I can't see myself wading through it all, in order to find authenticated material that is not already included in our own Apocrypha section. It's a jungle!

The Oxyrhynchus Papyrus 840 fragment you mention is obviously the real thing, valid and authentic. But may I pass the buck back to you to present authentic documents, or fragments like this one, that refer reliably to Jesus actual words and actions, for inclusion in our Apocrypha library? If necessary I could try to get any copyright permissions that are needed?

No matter how much I despise it, I can’t resist watching the :eek: Tony and Badger Show :eek: sometimes. Maybe it’s Aupmanyav’s comic relief that keeps me coming back for more.

Now I might be interested in discussing some of my disagreements with Christian about the teachings of Jesus, but I’m not sure where to do that.
If you're talking strictly Christian teachings, that normally goes on the Christian Board or in the Abrahamic Religions section. If you are comparing Christian teachings to non Abrahamic faiths, then Comparative studies may be more appropriate. Not that critical though, we can always move it later if need be.

I wouldn't be posting as a Christian disagreeing with other Christians, so I wasn' t sure if it should be on the Christian board. I also would not be posting about the beliefs of some other religion, Abrahamic or not. It's strictly my own personal views about what Jesus is saying and doing in the Bible gospels, so I wasn't sure that it would fit in the Abrahamic Religions section or Comparative studies. Maybe Abrahamics, because it's about my understanding of some Abrahami scriptures.

(later) Maybe I'll start a thread in the Abrahamics section called "My disagreements with other people about the teachings of Jesus."
