I have heard it said the two pillars of the Temple were named Strength and Beauty. There is much symbology in that, pointing to exactly what you highlighted here.

Imagine the shock when I realized there was not a pillar named Intelligence...or Wisdom, for that matter. Truth is though, people are not naturally drawn to intelligence or wisdom, nothing like how they are drawn to beauty and strength.

Not quite. It depends on what part of the world one lives in. Strength and beauty are instant attractors...but wisdom and intelligence take time to discern...and are much longer lasting.

I found reference to these two bronze pillars being referred to ceremonially and symbolically in Masonry and Kabala. Interestingly, the post wouldn't accept the material I pasted from the referenced site...the first serious glitch I've had to put up with in a long time here.
