dude... this is just confirming the position that rock is dead (or dying) ... cuz our generation has produced no one who equals the people you have mentioned here. (well, maybe Trent Reznor, and a few others, but look how few and far between people like him are).
 
Not so... There are some real good bands out there.. Muse, Distrubed, Creed, Nickleback, Nirvana, Foo fighters, Manson there is plenty out there but that ain't the point... Music legends pass and go to valhalla, but their music stays here and lives forever pal ;) Anyway, I'll let you and ya buddies get back to your Yamaha crap ;)
