Oh I forgot, you are the one that would rip up your fruit tree if it wasn't providing fruit, you are not the one that would provide the water and nutrients and care to create fruit.

I remember you started a thread once because people were complaining about you. Perhaps it is time you revisited that?

There is a time for nurture and I follow your sentiment on that. But sometime a tree can be diseased to the point there is no saving it. I come here knowing that I only bring opinion. There are others that come here thinking they are the keepers of an infallible truth. In the ruff and tumble of a good debate that can appear to be lost, but it is never forgotten by me. I have some inkling of the scale of what I do not know. You can either choose to believe that or not as is your Wil.

Good debate does not include name calling, or insulting. To me that is an indication that you've lost the debate, and have nothing left to stand on, not facts or intellect.

It appears to me, I may be wrong but that is not actually the case for you. Then it must be laziness?

Either way. What is your agenda? To discuss, ilimunine and educate or to send Islamis4u off positive that the this site and or Scotland is full or folks who are close minded and aren't worth spending time discussing anything?

I am enough of a realist to know that ii4u is never going to be swayed no matter what I say. Have you read any of his posts? It is all straight from the Pakistani/Wahhabi propagandists manuals. In my opinion he no longer has a mind of his own to sway.

As for name calling it can be gratuitous and a replacement for having anything real to say. At other times it can deliver a precise and unambiguous statement. Sometimes its cuts through a lot of BS.

oh dear, why should islamis4u change his name? if its not "4u" then why would you care? Islam isnt for me, but making him change his name is a little childish, i think. To me, it sounds like you are just trying to make a fight out of nothing.
Especially when he is not trying to convert anyone, on the lounges esp, . Tao, you just love tearing the guts out of anyones faith, thats your style,thats how you get your kicks, thats ok, cos it seems to challenge you. But just hanging out in the lounge is like a little safe place,... "no religion or politics please.."

Ii4u, I think that Tao has a point that you might want to seriously consider. I think changing your name could do wonders for your image on this forum . A small change like that, and maybe a new avatar and we will be in business.

It is easy to do, just e-mail Brian with your new name and he can make the change. In fact I just recently changed my name from Avi1223 to Avi. It was no problem at all.

It might not be that easy cos Brian isn't keen. I wanted to change my name for this season's stylee but he said it could end up causing rampant confusion...

I do not and would not ask that he change his name here. I only state that I find it offensive personally but I realise that this is because of my antipathy toward Islam. I realise it would not bother most people. I do not enjoy tearing the guts out of "anyones" faith. I do not target the "anyone" but the faith itself. And is the lounge the right place to mount an attack on me?
