just wanted to share a different perspective on Melchizedek .... which can be found at a web site Hidden Meanings ... Melchizedek is also associated with the concept of 10% tithing and one possible inner meaning into the name is that "Melchizedek is dark matter and makes up 90% of the universe and by receiving an additional 10% reaches perfection and can then return the blessing to us" .... so what if through meditation we give 10% over to the whole or the remaining 90% dark matter and through this process we integrate with some sort of universal consciousness .... just musing about the universal consciousness, but the inner meaning of the world Melchizedek is quite interesting .... "mel" black or dark
"chi" 22nd letter of the greek alphabet, life force
"z" symbol for atomic number 2, symbol for impedance
(a mesure of total opposition to current flow)

it seems to me that "righteous king", "prince of light", and even "prince of darkness" are all related to this meaning .... when we go into meditation we tithe to the "king" by giving our 10% and bridging the "whole brain" to open the channels for visions or revelations .... we become whole brain thinkers and this is when the "three" hemispheres become "one" .... Melchizedek is associated with the ascent or descent of the chariot which is also symbolically connected with this process of moving energy upward into the brain through the brain stem .... I also remember somewhere reading about how this energy must pass through two small glands at the base of the brain stem called the "olivaries" (or something like that) and this is the process of being "annointed" with "olive oil" .... this whole posting is probably not as coherent as I would like to make it, but thought I would at least share an alternative thought .... he hawai'i au, pohaikawahine
