Biblical Marriage and Divorce

Monogamy "one" single partner or person romantically loved throughout ones entire life simply isn't plausible, nor is it possible. I have loved (Dearly) both in my youth and also in my adult years more than a single individual. If marriage is such a union, then we are all adulterers.

Today's marriage is legitimized by a piece of paper, a priest or a justice of the peace. It is has become a government institution and not a truly sacred union. Marriage as we know it today certainly has benefits, such as tax breaks, insurance and the like, but is (To be honest) revolved around materialism. Even so, a true Spiritual union is based on love and not because someone else has deemed you (United). It is a simple relationship.

Relationships are just that; a spiritual union. A scriptural marriage (Something only God can join together) is the birth of two souls in one (A child). Certainly a piece of paper, priest, or a justice of the peace is NOT necessary to legitimize the love between two people. It is legitimized by [Love] alone.

Is it not written that true religion is to go unto the orphans and widows? (James 1:27) Man has become hard of heart, and many a child have become orphans because of. Thank God for those who come to love the fatherless (Orphans) and their mothers.

Jesus said that even if we lust in your mind for someone else beside your own spouse, it is like if we had committed adultery. This shows how serious God is about keeping purity before marriage and fidelity after marriage.
Yes, we are all adulterers. It does not mean that an unchanging nd abslute God is going to change His definition or standard for you or for me.

A child is the fruit of our love, the fruit of our union. A spiritual union is forever. The quality of the fruit (child) is based on the quality of the love and union of the parents and the spiritual lineage.
Just imagined that during the next 10 generations of your descendants, no one cheat or committ adultery, don't you think that it will affect the quality of your descendants.

What do we mean when we say love is "forever". Human beings wish to have this kind of love, an everlasting love.
First love is always the best love and should be the last.
Absolute sexual ethics are needed in our society.

Key word is "lust" (Strong desire for someone or something) Perhaps as in viewing a woman as an object to own, or for mere sexual gratification.

Yes, we are all adulterers. It does not means that an unchangiing God is going to change His definition or standard for you or for me.
The biblical definition of 'marriage' according to my understanding of scripture is (Child). Similar to the 'marriage of the Lamb', whereby we become God's children ourselves. ;)

A child is the fruit of our love, the fruit of our union. A spiritual union is forever. The quality of the fruit (child) is based on the quality of the love and union of the parents.
Indeed the fruit of a Spiritual Union is a child. The merging (Marriage) of two individuals. Are you seriously suggesting that the quality of a child is dependent upon the love His/Her parents have for one another? I think you are mistaken, sole.

Just imagined that during the next 10 generations of your descendants, no one cheat or committ adultery, don't you think that it will affect the quality of your descendants.
I think we are selfish, and to treat our partners as 'objects' to be owned is less than ideal. What is adultery again, sole?

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

We can both love our partners, but we can also have a lust for them, which is a not what love is about. Is jealousy a product of love, or lust?

I think mankind has become hard of heart and selfish in life, so we often times attempt to control one another. True love is not selfish however, nor does it seek its own. True love is selfless; it is where one wants only the best for the other. This kind of love is not to be taken advantage of, but rather it should be honored by having the same selfless love for your mate.

That is true spiritual union (Spiritual Marriage) and it is the way it was meant to be from the beginning of mankind. Selfishness and the desire to rule over one another, taints our relationships. To rule over another is not a relationship built on love, but lust. All men (And Woman) are created equal, and so we should treat our mates as we would want to be treated. With love, dignity, and respect.
