How can you believe that? God is fictional but according to fictional anthology of the Bible, he is certainly not LOVE.

God sets up a sting operation. He places a tree of Knowledge in the middle of the garden and forbids Adam and Even to seek that knowledge (i.e. remain bipedal apes).

He knows the human brain is primed with an unquenchable desire for knowledge. Adam and Eve seek knowledge (eating the fruit) and God takes away their immortality. How can God be LOVE?

Cain and Abel burn sacrifices to God. Cain, the farmer burns crops. Abel the shepherd burns a sheep. God rejects Cain's offering but is pleased by Abel's. That act of turning brother against brother caused a killing. Moreover, God instigated it all. How can God be LOVE?

Because some human adults sinned, God kills every living thing on Earth (millions of men, women, children, babies, foetuses, and pregnant mothers plus a trillion or more non-human animals who committed no sin. Baby humans committed no sin. God allows a handful of humans and pairs of non-human animals on a small wooden boat called the Ark, with not power by oars, sails, paddle wheels, steam/coal engine, diesel engine, or nuclear reactor. Ark was simply adrift in a new world ocean. Think of the millions of people a trillions of non-humans who perished because God had a temper tantrum. God is LOVE?

God sent Satan to torture Job. Job was a good man who loved God. Because of God's insecurity and ambivalence about Job's love, he had Satan torture Job and his family. God is LOVE?

God sent a series of plagues to kill innocent Egyptians and their animals because Pharaoh refused to let the Jews go. However, God hardened (or pre-hardened) Pharaoh’s heart guaranteeing Pharaoh would not release the Jews. He did this to show off his mighty power. God is a supreme show off, but is he LOVE?

God promised Moses and his nomadic band of Jewish raiders, the lush land of Canaan. He commanded them to attack defenceless cities (defences because of withdrawal of the protective Egyptian military garrisons). He ordered the Jews to slaughter men, women, children, babies, and pregnant women but take virgin girls for sex slaves. God is LOVE?

God believed that people in the Jordan valley cities of Sodom and Gomorrah had people who were sinning. Therefore, God destroyed the cities by fire and brimstone, sparing only the incestuous Lot and his family. God is LOVE.

Actually Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed by an earthquake and long line of hot volcanic lava. We saw the same kind of linear eruption in Iceland. Hence, fire and brimstone which is burning sulphur. The Jordan River valley is a long tectonic rift that has erupted many time spreading lava and deadly pyroclastic flows. After the ejection of the lava, hot rocks, pyroclastic flows, and dust cloud emptied much of the magma chamber, the Jordan valley collapsed to become the lowest places on Earth.

So God did not actually destroy the cities, nature did. Pyroclastic flow engulfed Lots wife who lagged behind and she was covered just like the bodies at Pompeii. That gave rise to the myth of her being turned to salt.

If God created man and non-human animals, why did he create disease causing bacteria, parasites, and viruses? Why did God create infant and childhood brain tumours? Why did God create genes that produce horrible familial diseases? God is LOVE?

When you read this next scriptures from Joel 2, think of volcanoes and hot lava. Remember, don't take the scriptures literally so where it says people, it's not people. It's hot lava. Words like horses, chariots, warriors are being used for the same lava flow.

From Now until Then

The world will continue as is until the earth starts to shake violently. If there are any warnings from the seismic scientists, no one will care anyway because of all the other warnings we've had in the past. This is just like the days before the flood when Noah's warnings were a waste of his time.

People who live in earthquake country won't get too excited until they realize this shaking isn't a common earthquake. The people who live in areas that never experienced the ground shaking will be in sheer panic. This shaking is the beginning of the end of this earth as we know it.

As far back as the flood, the mantle under the crust of the earth has been increasing in density causing a tremendous pressure. Gravity and the more liquid magma underneath it adds to this density. It's like filling an airtake with air. We have experienced many leaks in the crust over the past milliniums that we call volcanoes. Some of these volcanoes in the ocean have made new islands which takes a lot of lava to do that. These volcanoes are the result of this pressure build-up in the mantel.

One day soon, the earth's crust won't be able to hold back the pressure and the earth will start shaking as the fizzures in the crust open up to let this hot lava out. The more lava that comes out the more room there will be for this mantle to expand and then it will start pouring out of the earth like a can of shaving cream.

As this mantle produces more liquid lava, the more pressure it will have on the way out of these cracks and they will erode into bigger cracks. Eventually this will lead to the break up of the crust and be overtaken by the hot lava. Then it will be melted into the lava all around it.

With this high heat, all the water will have evaporated off the earth into water vapor in the atmosphere where it will stay until this melting of the crust is over and starts to cool down again. By this time, all flesh of man and his works will be gone and melted into trillions of tons of 2,000 degree F. lava. This is called the lake of fire with sulfur in the book of Revelation.

The earth will appear to look like the sun except it will be hidden under a very thick layer of water vapor. This is the beginning of a new age of the earth and as it releases all the pressure from the mantle layers, the hot lava will start cooling down and the gravity will level it all out as it cools. All the mountains and the ocean beds will no longer exist because God knows exactly how much land is needed to hold his creation in.

The people who die in this destruction of the earth are dying their second death but everyone else who died before them also died their second death. Their first death was a spiritual death which is the separation from the Word of God. All the people who obeyed God were created in the Word so they will avoid this destruction because they will all be killed by the jealousy and pride of the world. Their death is the first death because they became spiritually alive in the Word. They have resurrected from their flesh and are ready to go to the next earth as Heaven.

Our flesh was only a temporary body for us to live in while we were being judged in this age. This age was to establish those people, who listened to the Word and obeyed God, and create them as the Word to be his voice to communicate with them. These people will be the new government for the next age. It took the entire age to find these people so the last of his people are coming into the Kingdom now and when they're all found, the end of this earth will come.

When we die in the flesh, we go into a state of existing without any way of communicating because we're only thoughts/spirit. There is no time in the spirit of God so it's like being asleep the whole time between death in the flesh and being placed in a new body in the next age.

Even if it takes a million earth years to complete this transition to a new earth that's ready for us to live on, it will appear to us to be just a good night's sleep.

Those of us who were created in the Word will find ourselves waking up in new bodies already to rule the world. It will take some time to get acquainted with the brothers we've never met before. All our memories of the last age will be erased so we won't remember anything. Jesus won't remember the disciples and so on but the understanding we have will let us know who we are and who Jesus is. This understanding is God and everything we need to know will be revealed to us.

A new Adam and Eve will be formed by God and then he will put his created Adam with Eve into their flesh and they will produce the first seeds where the rest of God's people will be born into the new earth. Each created man was male and female so he will be born with a male and female body and they will remain together forever. Because they were separated from the Word at creation, they will not have any understanding of who God is so they will have to be taught all about him, just like religion taught their children in the first age but without deception. These children will be raised with love and respect and will be a joy to parents rather than a burden.

The earth will become a paradise with the water raining to the new soil in an even distribution on the level ground. It will fill up all the underground spaces where the many pressure vents will exist for controlling the pressure levels of the mantle. This will create hot baths all over the world for people to enjoy. All the water will be purified and stay that way forever because man won't be creating any pollution. We will never work for another man again which means there won't be any business as usual. God will supply all of our needs.

Our bodies will be made differently to effectively handle food without waste so there won't be any need for public works. Those outside the new government will all get some land to build a home and raise their own food but they won't have to do any manual labor to get this accomplished. The Word of God will have powers to perform miracles which will be a routine thing to help people with building their homes and making sure their food is supplied. Since there isn't any lust, no clothes will be necessary and we won't know the difference from being born into it.

Building our homes will be more like thinking them into existence and they won't be built out of the materials of the earth like we know of today. We won't need electricity, plumbing or any of the things that we think about today. Since we won't have any business, there won't be any tools to buy or anything to build a house with. Man will not build anything for himself because that's the way God wanted it. This can only mean that God will build the home in some miraculous way, especially designed for each couple.

Our food will be grown by the power of God and man won't have to cultivate or do any work to tend it. We won't eat because we need to eat. We will eat to enjoy the good taste of it and the wine we get from the fruit. This will be paradise and we will all be treated as a guest in God's house.

With no waste to take care of and no labor to build things, there will never be pollution in the air, water and soil like man made in this age. This is one of the major reasons he used hot lava to purify everything. The air, water and soil will be perfectly cleansed and never polluted again.

There won't be any need for sightseeing or business trips so walking will be our transportation. If you want to see the things God created in the sky, he has all the images for you to view in your minds. This will be much better than watching 3D movies from Hollywood. Would you like to go see Mars without ever leaving your bedroom? How about close up views of some distant black holes? Maybe walking around the moon will be good for you. This is called traveling in the spirit of God and I've already experienced this so I know it's going to happen.

All the animals will be tame so we can play with them as pets and friends. Our children can ride tigers, lions and bears without any fears of being eaten alive. If anyone gets a cut, scratch or a broken bone, it will be instantly healed so no doctors, nurses or hospitals will be needed. No diseases or illnesses will be known to us and there won't be any deceptions in our thoughts. This means we'll always love each other and peace and quiet will be the normal conditions for us all to live with.

This is the life that God has in store for you after you die in your flesh. We won't miss any action because time flies when you go to sleep in God's rest. When you wake up into the new world, you will see God's paradise, just the way he planned it all from the beginning. This is called the 7th day sabbath rest in the Lord and it's for eternity.

If one assumes that there is a creator god, then the buck stops not with us but with god, since by definition, he is the first cause of everything.
And of course, suffering cannot be excluded as many are inclined to do in defence of their concept of a creator god.

The rest tries to justify why suffering is necessary. Assuming that there is a creator god, I think suffering is unnecessary and evil,

Buddhists (I) think suffering is the common condition in humans, driven by ignorance and ego.

While it is unnecessary, it is very difficult to avoid.

And I wouldn't call suffering "evil".

That's giving it too much credit.

Here's what I actually said:

So if there is no creator god, as in Buddhism, then suffering can be logically explained, and the adjectives of "unnecessary" and "evil" will no longer apply.

That is indeed a perplexing question.
 
It is a great question! If I had to define God with one word, then I would rather not tell you anything at all. I was always partial to 'Love', but it certainly cannot define God or the idea of God at all. Shall I tell a child born into lifelong torment of God's love? I know children like these. Is God justice for them? Is God love to them? To say this to them would denigrate Love and God and Justice. Let them keep God and love separate that they may at least have their sanity. Let them call God 'Impartial' and let me call God 'Love' or whatever I have experienced at God's hands. When it comes to God, children are who matter the most. If there is no God for them, then there is not God at all. I believe God is always the same, but the world is random as is each person's personal fortune, and that means we cannot let one person's fortune dictate the meaning of God for another person.

Hi Brad. I have spent a lot of time at Christian forums where people have differing ideas about the end times. I have never encountered anything remotely as detailed as your post, and certainly not about the lava and so forth.

So I would like to ask you, what is the source of this complex scenario you have painted?

The complication is that the preparation [as in Pain first, Gain later] will pay off at different times and place ---Fruits of one's works, in the future, may not come in successive order ---the cosmos fits in multi-task errands. So where & when does one's 'Boat-Comes-In' occurs when all the factors are in-alignment ---but usually we get drips-and-drabs of our own good fortune (good-karma and/or Bad-karma) as per circumstances allow.

The present enjoyment or sufferring is due to past acts ---now, in the present life, the appropriate level of destiny is reflected in the experiences that we have, which are all occurring to teach a lesson well.

One can "Learn by the Carrot or the Stick" ---it is un-avoidable.
One must learn immediately or else be destined to repeat the same lessons again.
