Greetings

Agnosticism is worse than atheism in that the conviction against atheism is simpler. The saying "an idle mind is the devil's playground" encapsulates agnosticism.

Christ says, "What does it profit a man if he gain the whole world but lose his soul?"

So it is with the 'playground' of agnosticim. The Biblical epistle containing admonition about "progressives" is an early example of conviction against agnosticism. The early 20th century encyclical against the modernists is a more, recent warning about such frivolousness of thought.

I would appreciate if you would move this conversation away from this thread. I do not appreciate being defined as the worst thing by random people. I would like more positive things here.

I didn't define you as the worst thing. Atheism only has an existence due to Theism, and agnosticism ranks no better. There is a saying, "Hate the sin, love the sinner."

Give up agnosticism then.

The penning of the word catholic by St. Ignatius of Antioch to mean the entire teachings of Christ is the most positive start you'll get at this thread.

You've been asked Edward....start a new thread on your views of agnosticism if you wish.

This is the introductions forum, take the discussion elsewhere please, I'll be glad to participate.

What a wonderful person you are, want to be friends?

All are friends in Christ.

That is the only question you have asked - and I'll cover the fact that the King and psalmist David who wrote the Book of Psalms of the Old Testament in the Holy Bible spoke : "The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want."

God, who has revealed Himself to us through Christ Jesus, is not only the King of kings, He is the Shepherd of shepherds, filling all our needs.

We are commanded to love each other, to fill our wanting with heavenly bliss.

I just want to people to know that I'll try to take a break from interfaith for a while, this place is making me tired right now, but I'll bet it'll be better soon enough.

I'll be back in a jiffy, see you then.

He is basically saying 'I don't like the way atheists act, therefor I don't want to be categorized as being in agreement with them....

I label myself as nontheistic because I don't like the way believers act and don't want to be categorized as being with them...

I don't label myself because I don't like the way people who label themselves behave. :p

I have some knowledge on the Tao and I totally love it. I don't mind conversation regarding it at all. Offers there any time. <- love these emo-cons
