Rapture reality or not?

For no particular reason?
It's hard to start a discussion when all you say is "I think this." So? Should we care what you think?

Whos we?

Biblically speaking caught up refers to rapture.

I believe that the light of the holy spirit will bring up their bodies to unite with their souls and spirits and with christ.

I akin it to being in union with Christ, or rather that which happens to the individual when they have truly been born of the Spirit, a union with the divine essence of life, the becoming of the children of God.

Kinda like beam me up scotty but a holy event.

I view it to be much less mystical, actually. I think it's the joining together of other children of God on this earth. I really do not think that we will literally ascend to the clouds, but rather that we will be unified by the Spirit.

Your right but I believe that a lot of people on earth are going to be taken up.

You say this as a matter of fact, but have you ever considered that the world needs those who have been made children of God?
Well I believe everyone is a child of GOD but not everyone will be ready to be in that condtion with him at that time.

Like all children some will still need to grow and mature to get there. GOD loves all his children no matter how rebellious they are.

While I'll agree that we all came from God and that we are all connected to God, I might suggest that some remain children of destruction. There is a difference between children of life (God) and children of destruction, no? My question is, have you ever considered that the world needs the children of life, as opposed to the children of life being taken and caught up in the 'clouds'"?

I believe there will be those who remain who are children of life but that even children who are destructive have good qualities as well but really are rebellious because of a lack of love or a desire for attention.

Dont you think that a miracle of this kind should happen so that those in the world can see that maybe their destructive behaviors isnt getting them anywhere they really want to be?

So where does the rapture fit into this view? For example: It is written that "the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption, and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God." (Romans 8:19-21)

I believe a lot of people are living in a fog of their present reality not really thinking about the whole picture and caught up in the present reality and they need to see there is a divine reality.
