A Two-line Commentary on Jesus, the Christ

Based on your words, I don't think you could help either. Who is LePierrre?

Are the ideas of Lanza or LePierrre considered equally valid as yours? I would rather be an idealist than a hypocrite.

Is it really relevant to judge if I could help (I don't know what that means) based on my last three sentences? I personally don't think I know much about you at all based on all your words here.

How is it being hypocritical?

"Different methods of change" does not equate to "governing". What a person thinks does not imply that thought is "true", in terms of either "absolute truth" or "empirical truth". One may think that all mathematics is true, consistent and complete... fine, it ain't. One may think the world is flat, again, it ain't. Reality trumps thought (if and only if the thought can be proved to be inconsistent with reality). What you advocate is relaticvism gone wild.
Interesting statements from a person that recently claimed the only 'hard truth' comes from deductive logic, arithmetic, or ostensive definitions... with no measurement of reality, and everything else being fuzzy. You don't see your contradiction?

I believe the discussion on this thread regards how a person trumps reality, and how a group of people can trump reality.

To put truth into the context of this thread, from my perspective: If you want to acquire truth, then be truthful, and be giving truthfully.

What do you see as "the methods of personal change and neighborly change implemented and taught by Jesus Christ?"
The method: sacrifice of love, faith beyond all riches, and brutal honesty. Seek, pray, find, and believe God. As can be applied with the mind, heart, and soul: Do unto others as you would have others do unto you.

and cyberpi - gosh, i remember you too. you and tao, what a pair. quite scary, although him more than you. i remember finding it distinctly uncool that you went to try and take an unpleasant internet debate to brian's home town.
Really, I will be in your home town towards the end of January. Would you also like to advise me that I am not invited to your home town? I found that Tao was a kinder hearted gentleman than some that vested time here, especially Brian. Tao invited me into his home and spent an entire day showing me around Edinburgh. Have you personally met him?
