Gorgeous country. Are Jains and Buddhists considered almost part of the Sanatana Dharma? They just seem so related to the non-theistic braches I know of.
 
They do not consider themselves to be the part of hinduism, though many hindus (including myself) think so, sikhism too. They are troubled by the 'big-brother syndrome'. We are the overwhelming majority in India, some 900 million to 25 million of sikhs. Buddhists and jains number even less. I respect all three, they all have their good points.
