But you're using his argument? His logic. If you want to use it shouldn't you understand it, agree with it, defend it?
But what your saying is that it says in the texts that the Jewish civilization will live on forever, so then it will?

Pardon me but, blame Mark Twain. I took from him. But I think that for the Jewish civilization to fall is going to take a universal catastrophe of the size of the Flood. Jeremiah said that as long as the natural laws function properly, Israel is to remain as a People before the Lord forever. (Jer. 31:35-37) Of course you don't believe that but... hey it's written.

If they are to 'remain' G!ds people...don't you think an earthly catastrophe would be the blessing to bring the family home for the big reunion?

I did not say that either. It seems clear to me that you indeed don't open even a page of the Bible to read. I remember to have given you the quote. Prophet Jeremiahs said in 31:35-37 that as long as Israel remains as a People before the Lord forever all the natural laws won't stop functioning as they are supposed to. So far, since the rising of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, every thing remains functioning as they started from the beginning of the universe.

The opposite is rather true. Soon after the Flood, the Lord promised Noah that another catastrophe of that size would never hit Mankind again, and the pledge to guarantee His promise was the soon afterwards rising of Israel the Jewish People. That's why Jesus said in John 4:22 that salvation was from the Jews. That's universal salvation from universal catastrophes.
 
Well Jews in the US are very influential in media, TV, Movies, Broadway, influencing minds like no other can. They have a larger than proportionate representation in politics, as company executives, CEOs, CFOs, accountants, lawyers, etc....

How much more rising do you want?

Pity that you don't believe the Scriptures but, when the city of Sodom was destroyed, Abraham implied in his vision that if there was at least a Minyan of ten righteous aka adult Jews in Sodom, the city could have been spared from destruction. (Gen. 18:32)

Well, actually, out of all that's being said ... sex is the closet so far - to the Absolute Unity of God.

Even in sexual union, assuming it is mutually desired and evenly sought, one comes into greater contact with and awareness of the Divine (whether one recognizes it as such or not).

The silver lining, whatever else, is that if the daughters enjoyed it, then worse crimes might have been offset - and moreover, a bit of Divine Union was achieved.

I have little hope for windmill-tilters, with dried-up brains and a headful of syllogisms and legalisms.

I can't do that incognito because according to Prophet Isaiah and Jesus himself, the Jews were assigned as light unto the Gentiles. How can light been seen if it is hidden under the bush? (Isa. 42:6; Mat. 5:14,15)

Do you think that could have been real? Nothing of those reverse acts of rape happened in real life but in the dreams of Abraham. They don't even make sense. The point is that the Ammonites and the Moabites were forever enemies of Israel and, the author of that report about them had to backfire in terms of bastard peoples born out of fornication.

Light exists even when it is not seen.

I have always been comforted by the teaching that we help bring light by first gaining some increased measure of it ourselves, and then sharing with others it just by being alive and around.

Second to this is seeking to be a good example rather than a horrible warning. Even horrible warnings have some purpose, however, nothing is wasted in the end.

If one has the talent to raise others' consciousness by direct teaching that would be a wonderful gift to humanity too, but most of us are best working quietly and incognito.

Yeah, light does exist even when it is not seen but in the metaphorical sense to be light unto the Gentiles of Isaiah 42:6 or light of the world in the words of Jesus. (Mat. 5:14) We must set ourselves up on the top of the mount so that the Truth be seen by all. That's one of the reasons for exiles. When we start locking the Truth within ourselves, exiles spread us out so that the whole world see the light we have.
