Another way to put it is, don't try to reason with closed-minded people. I have learned it is just a waste of time. (Especially when it comes to religion.)
 
or ... well, interesting ... that person has a different POV than I do. I wonder how he/she came to that POV. Was it experience? Was it an epiphany? Was it their upbringing? It's a fascinating world that there exists such diverging viewpoints. That's the beauty of life on this planet. Just as there are many beautiful and ugly varieties of flowers depending on taste, so too are their many divergent yet beautiful or ugly ideas, depending on all these factors.

Opps.... You're right. I inadvertently uploaded an early version of that cartoon. It meant that each person thinks they are right, but from the wording, that wasn't always clear. Later version reads: "Respect one another. Perspectives may vary, but the reasons for our beliefs are the same...", meaning each person believes what they are saying is based on sound logic and truth, but what is sound logic and truth varies one person to the next depending on their perspective.
