As to my personal beliefs, I think it is fair to say I am undecided on matters of personal faith or lack thereof. Interfaith issues, multiculturalism, cosmopolitanism, internationalism, and other topics within those spheres interest me a great deal and that is my reasoning for joining. My educational field was political science/philosophy and all of these topics are increasingly important in our world.

Great thread topic... Think being the focus....as all we know is that others will dispose of the body in some way shape or form not necessarily conforming to our wishes... Also will lead into a discussion of the definition of "you" (body, spirit or soul)

I question "increasingly" important.... Between today's conflicts on the topic and past ones I'd say our religious differences have a reduced impact.compared.to the past. (Think total percentage of population involved in conflicts)
