People ask, how ya doin?
Well....Talking to a friend who survived the blitz, she was in London and the buzzbombs came every few nights. Her mom got tuberculosis and she was sent to live with her aunt n uncle in the country and every night had to sleep in a hole in the ground under a corrugated sheet in the back yard with the worms and bugs...till her dad (in service) then took her back to the city to live with another aunt. They moved the iron bed frame to the ground floor and every night slept under that. Until a bomb took out the end rowhouse and the block fell. She and her aunt were rescued under a pile of bricks, safely under the bed....the next day. That only lasted 20 months for them...
I don't think I can complain...
