Something I read earlier today that I don't know where to put

From my LiveJournal feed:
1. What is the most adventurous food you've ever tried?

2. What is the most adventurous food you'd be willing to try?

3. Would you have a problem eating dog meat and why or why not?

4. For the most part, do you consider your diet to be balanced?

5. Which is more appealing: being a vegetarian for the rest of your life or being a strict carnivore for the rest of your life?

I'm not sure. I've tried lots of food!
2. What is the most adventurous food you'd be willing to try?
Unsure, again. Probably no kind of waste... other than that... (It would have to be vegetarian friendly.)
3. Would you have a problem eating dog meat and why or why not?
I would, because I'm a vegetarian. But, I don't see why one shouldn't consume dog if they consume other animals...
4. For the most part, do you consider your diet to be balanced?
Overall, yes.
5. Which is more appealing: being a vegetarian for the rest of your life or being a strict carnivore for the rest of your life?
I plan on being a vegetarian for the rest of my life. :)

1) Anything my sister cooked.
2) Anything my sister cooks... because if she were still cooking it would mean I hadn't lost her way before her time.
3) Yes, I'd have a problem. I don't eat treife... but you knew that.
4) Yes, I do. I've never seen my plate tip over.
5) I'm an omnivore, but I'd rather give up meat than lose all those veggies and non-meat goodies.

1. Goat testicles. Tasted exactly like goat testicles. Never ever again!
2. The spiciest peppers!
3. Yes! I've seen it prepped before. It just didn't look right and smelled awful.
4. Yes, but I eat too much. I prepare a lot of Mexican food or latin inspired food. We have a fruit bowl that is full of avocados, limes, and jalapenos every week. But I love to eat. And I have troubles exercising with a toddler running around getting in my way.
5. Neither, but if I had to I'd choose to be a strict carnivore. You'll never see me jonesing over a carrot or a piece of lettuce. But a few months of no meat? I'd be dying for a steak or hot wings.

Just a friendly reminder for those who think the "dark ages" were such a dark time
It was dark ages in Europe, and dark ages for the catholic church theocracy which was basically the only organization in control at the time....me thinks there power went to their heads....they got better.

But the rest of the world..Asia, Africa, America's, were plodding forward and advancing in every way.... while the humans of europe were stagnating educationally, like America today.

I stand by my post. And I'm not one to shy from criticizing the Catholic church.

It was dark ages in Europe,
Which scholars now acknowledge is a misnomer.

That opinion doesn't reflect the picture as I understand it.

Well it depends if you've switched ages, but if you're talking 'Dark Ages' or the Middle Ages generally, then it's simply not the caee.

The term Dark Ages is so inexact...esp around dates. I tend to think of the Dark Ages as being from the fall of Rome until a few centuries later... then you have the Middle Ages... but dates can be so slippery.
