Something I read earlier today that I don't know where to put

Apparently the US National Archives is looking for people to help them decipher and transcribe documents.
Read this article (link below) to find out how. A link to follow up on the opportunity is in the article, and I also placed the link separately below.
Happy deciphering, if you decide to give it a try. I might do some.

Quote from the Article (link below the quote)

If you can read cursive, the National Archives would like a word.

Or a few million. More than 200 years worth of U.S. documents need transcribing (or at least classifying) and the vast majority from the Revolutionary War era are handwritten in cursive – requiring people who know the flowing, looped form of penmanship.

“Reading cursive is a superpower,” said Suzanne Isaacs, a community manager with the National Archives Catalog in Washington, D.C.

Happy Robert Burns Day, y'all! Have a little haggis for me since it's off my diet...

Phyllis Sidhe_Uaine
I believe that 'halal haggis' is available in Edinburgh :)

..but not where I live .. and I don't fancy the vegetarian haggis .. oh well.
I used to make it myself .. steamed in a pudding basin .. yum.

These days, I can open a tin of beans/soup. :(

A reaction to a movie that I want to watch sometime (not sure if anyone else would):

The movie reviewed is The Wild Robot, which came out last year.

No "receipts" were attached to the photos (the first is a French onion meatloaf and the second is spagghetti with meatballs in case y'all want to find a "receipt" for them/you have a favourite "receipt" for them):

Happy World Radio Day, y'all! Celebrating is easy: just listen to your favourite radio station for as long as you want (the :kitty: delegation is doing that in the background, albeit different stations...)

This crossstitch might bring back fond memories of a particular Monty Python film:

No, I didn't make it myself (it was posted on my LiveJournal feed, replying to a question that was asked either yesterday or earlier today.) The OFs might remember the film it came from.
