I don't know how it is suppose to function but it's seems a little off on my end. The only clickable link is the title that directs me to the thread as normal.

Sorry, I don’t quite follow. The redirect link doesn’t take you to the living on a deserted island thread, or it does take you to the thread?

Ok so do you see the pic I added, it lacks thread data, which is weird. It was also in the section where it was first posted (Abrahamic Religions?) and it linked to the tread as if it was still at that location (Home Forums > Religion, Faith, and Theology > Abrahamic Religions).

But now it's just in the section you moved it to, I can't find that weird redirect link. AND I now have 'You have insufficient privileges to reply here' though it doesn't look like you've locked it or otherwise tried to restrict it.

I don't think this is a big thing, only giving you data!

Ahh, your pic of the link didn't load the first time. That is strange. I locked and unlocked the thread in its new location in hopes that you aren't receiving the insufficient privileges message. Can you try accessing it again in its current location to let me know? I appreciate you giving me the data and letting me know of this issue so I can troubleshoot. Thank you!

Anyone else having a similar experience to what ACOT has experienced?

Still the same I'm afraid.

I'm a unique person with unique experiences, Steve!
Dang. I'm sorry that this is happening and I can't fix it. I submitted a help request to the forum software's help desk to see if they can correct this issue or have other suggestions. In the meantime, if you'd like to comment on that thread, please send me your thoughts in a private conversation and I'll post them. Thanks.

no worries, mate, we do the best with what we got!
and it really isn't a problem for me, Im just wondering if it's only me, wil seems to be able to post.

@wil the only issue right now is that I don't have privileges for the thread, but I don't have anything to say so more a theoretical issue.

Ah... I get that notice every now and again...sometimes on my own threads... I leave the page open and try back later and it let's me post...this happens not regularly, but more often than I'd like, but not often enough to complain... But often enough for me to mention here, or and ask if I should actually be mentioning everything, or just mention those things that happen often enough for me to complain?

it never happens to me, and when it does its permanent.
if I were you I would make an alt. account, just as a backup. Good way to test if issues are account bound or not.

I always like to hear if issues continue more than one day. That suggests there’s a larger underlying issue. If it is an irregular error, that could be related to updates the host doesn’t tell me about.

Always feel free to share though. I want everyone to have positive experience with none, or minimal, technical issues. Obviously, that doesn’t always happen.

Now to figure out why @juantoo3 cant post.
