I'm not a deity/god believer. I wasn't born and raised to believe such. However, I was thinking of synchronicities (meaningful coincidences) I've had/been having lately. I had two huge ones and small ones probably every other day. A lot of people associate experiences coming from an outside source or just experiencing "it" as the ball of life itself (definition thereof).

I was wondering if you guys have had any powerful synchronicities (blessings, coincidences, fill in the blank). Where do you (or do you) believe they come from?

Looking forward to hearing you guys' responses.

(Another curious question-what patterns or theme have you picked up?)

Coincidence, correlation, causation....

Or just my human trait of categorizing and grouping things together.

Me thinks we desire to see connections and patterns....although that may be the nontheiat in me

Memorable synchronicity: Trying to get some week-long project blocker un-wedged at a partner organization we were collaborating with at work, I thought "we need more imagination and unexpected turns, these people are way too stuck in their ways, they need a little chaos to wake them up", picked up the phone to activate some informal contacts - and learned that the entire site had spontaneously gone on warning strike! (Strikes are not too uncommon in Germany where I live, but in my work sector, they are not that frequent either)

To me, synchronicity is an experience of inclusivity, of alignment, of truth: things really are what they seem, my thoughts and wishes are in tune with reality, they are reality.

I would say synchronicities don't come from anywhere, rather, I go to them by opening up, relaxing, including, allowing.

True. A lot of them happen when you're open. What does truth mean to you?
For me, it seems my biggest synchronicities and signs come from deceased family. Though not sure about a truth behind it all. Very different points of view I guess.

Where there any that stuck out you remember?
Experience without need for source attribution?

I need help deciphering these question in relation to my post.

For clarification, I do not believe in any divine hand or angelic efforts beyond STEM principles.and advancement.

Just the first part. Where your experiences meaningful?

A coincidence can be meaningful regardless if the person who experiences it sees it divine or a fluke.

In this context, by "truth" I mean that my conceptions coincide with the reality they are about.

What kind of relationship do you cultivate with your deceased family members?

Can you rephrase that? Went over my head unfortunately. :(
Mine too.

Things happen.

We either learn from them and grow or we don't.

But we don't step in the same River twice. Everytime I contemplate the meaning, parable, allegory, metaphor from my actual life history have new experiences, trials and tribulations (blessons) that are added to the interpretation.

While I don't attribute any divine hand... I do gain insight from the incident....should I choose to contemplate.

If you are getting repeating themes, pay attention to them. The unconscious mind is much more intelligent than the conscious mind, and the answer to something you've been contemplating might be trying to come through from the unconscious mind to the conscious mind. Be prepared for a *doh* moment.

Hello

synchronicities for me, interestingly enough happen with numbers then friends and family.

why? Do they happen, this is always the hard part for me to explain. We all have a mind not connected to us as a part of us that also is trying to figure things out. This mind is constantly collecting your time and tries to understand you through the time it collects. Minds share thoughts and this sharing of thoughts is where your synchronicities come from.

even members of this forum share in synchronicities as they will try to teach each other things, their synchronicities will be harder to distinguish because we don’t share a lot of our personal experiences like this with each other.

I really have no religious context behind it. I notice a lot of the synchronicity moments I've had had to do with protection (and money for some odd reason). Two I had after my grandmother and aunt's passing (in separate years). I've heard people have such strong coincidences that they feel there is some "connection" to the universe. I guess I feel that way about family. The problem is I was never close to my family, so it's mostly conversation, listening, stuff like that. I do know why/how people believe in things like deities and practices and things like that. Though the theology and culture behind them is hard to really grasp.

Have you ever read The Secret language of Signs: How to Interpret Coincidences and Symbols in your Life by Denise Linn?

I agree with the mind-connection. I've never had numbers before. I read that people attribute their experiences to "the universe."

No, I have never read that book, I will look it up though, thanks.

the mind connection is symbiotic in many ways it is what we would become ourselves inside of when we are no longer here.

the number part makes no sense to me, but it can be fun to play around with as it is a constant ignigma to me.
