I have been studying Ezekiel's Wheels for many years. I have concluded that they are depicting Atoms as well as their relating Physics. Biochemistry is there as well.

I will throw out some thoughts in case folks are interested...

Ezekiel 1:4
"And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire."

The word Amber is where we get the word 'Electron'...

The classical names for amber, Latinelectrum and Ancient Greekἤλεκτρον (ēlektron), are connected to a term ἠλέκτωρ (ēlektōr) meaning "beaming Sun"

Amber - Wikipedia

Thus, Ezekiel was being shown Electrons. If we keep going with this presumption, we find that a 'Wheel within a Wheel' is depicting an Atom with two Electron Orbitals or Shells.

Elements with two Shells include...
  • Oxygen
  • Nitrogen
  • Carbon
These are basic building blocks of Life. Why these types of Elements? Because Ezekiel was being shown how the Word was made flesh. It was a Prophecy of a future event...

John 1:14
"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

Note that there are 'Eyes' going around and around...

Ezekiel 1:18
"As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four."

In the typical schematical diagram of an Atom, the Eyes would be the Electrons that orbit within the 'Rings', similar to a Solar System.

These Eyes are the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of God...

Ezekiel 1:20
"Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels."

Spirit is Electromagnetism. Thus, it fits perfectly with the descriptions in Ezekiel.

Acts 1:8
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judæa, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

Power is the Bible's way of saying Electromagnetism. They are one and the same. It is literal.

Many have wondered what the Four Faces are on the Living Creatures...

Ezekiel 1:10
"As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle."

Most make the mistake of looking outside of the Bible for answers. They assume things like 'Cardinal Directions'... in other words, North, East, South and West. Not a bad guess I suppose. Can we do better? Yes.

Simply let the Bible explain what these Four Faces mean...

Lion

Daniel 6:27
"He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions."

The Lion represents Power. Since we covered how Power represents Electromagnetism, we can deduce that the Lion represents Electromagnetism.

Eagle

Obadiah 1:4
"Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD."

What goes up, must come down. This is the basics of Gravity. Thus, the Eagle represents Gravity. Think of the NASA Eagle that made a nest on the Moon, among the Stars, and came back.

Ox

Proverbs 14:4
"Where no oxen are, the crib is clean: but much increase is by the strength of the ox."

Here we see that the Ox is Strong. Thus the Ox represents the Strong Force.

Man

Judges 16:7
"And Samson said unto her, If they bind me with seven green withs that were never dried, then shall I be weak, and be as another man."

Of all the beasts on the list, Man is the weakest. Thus, Man is a Weak Force.

If any of this sounds familiar, that is because...

The Four Faces of the Living Creatures represent the Four Forces of Nature.

The Bible is teaching us Quantum as well as Particle Physics.

Again, this is done not for the sake of God 'showing off', but to help Mankind understand how the Word was made flesh.

It also serves as a warning. Those that think they can become 'like the gods' will have God to answer to.

Interesting stories...although your "literal" interpretations may be viewed as more fantastical than mine.

I do see why you ruffle feathers on Christian forums.

I always liked the alien ship interpretation and have an easier time believing that or good mushrooms over yours....but ya get credit for literal elasticity!

One of my favorite Pastors on YouTube, Michael Hoggard, has been posting many videos on the UFO interpretation lately.

Are videos allowed?

He basically associates Ezekiel's Wheels with UFO's. I partially agree in that I believe that the Sons of God that came into the Daughters of Men may have utilized a process similar to how Jesus was conceived.

In other words, they incarnated themselves via conception. They did not just 'appear' out of the blue.

On the subject of Particle Physics, there is something incredible encoded in the High Priest's Breastplate...

Note how there are twelve Gemstones in total. Note also that they are arranged in four rows and three columns.

Anyone who deals with Particle Physics may recognize the pattern. It is exactly like the Fermions in the Standard Model...

Here is the mind-blowing part. There are actually correlations between the Particles and verses in the KJV.

I will post more on this later. :)

Nice, looking forward to those verses you found!

I enjoy contemplating symbol systems. Do you look into other sources, or do you prefer to stick to the Bible?

Well, they represent the twelve tribes of Israel. It's a bit of a stretch to conclude it predicts the standard model fermions, imo -- and anyway the standard model could (soon) end up being inadequate? Science is a historical series of models, which then begin to show inconsistencies, leading to the need for bigger picture research and new expanded theories? The standard model is unlikely to be the the final picture?

Your choice of the KJV, at least in regard to Hebrew scriptures, for English translation is based on what?

Although I use the KJV as my final say on things, I have no issue with studying and citing other sources now and again for research purposes.

There is plenty of room in Scripture for changes if need be.

If new Fermions are discovered, then that means my research needs updating, not the Bible.

For example, we have the Urim and Thummim...

Exodus 28:30
"And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron’s heart, when he goeth in before the LORD: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually."

One could postulate that they represent Matter and Antimatter. They could represent two more Fermions that have yet to be discovered.

There is also the Gold surrounding the Gemstones. Is that Dark Matter? Is it another Force? Another Particle?

See that? The Breastplate may actually prophecy new discoveries.

I use software to look for patterns. I have found this to be the best way to see the 'bigger picture' and to discover things that may not be apparent by simply studying a single word.

Having said that, I have found that the KJV produces the best patterns out of all the translations.

Correlation, causation and coincidence.
I you were to flip a coin twice and it came out 'Heads' each time, would that be a coincidence?

What if the coin came up Heads ten times in a row? Is that still coincidence?

What about a hundred, a thousand? Still coincidence, or would you begin to get a little suspicious that something is not 'normal'?

I operate within the realm of coincidence vs. not. I do not have mathematical equations to govern what is and what is not a coincidence, so I do my best to arrive at the best conclusion I can come up with.

I believe the Bible is written in Fuzzy Logic, as opposed to Boolean. I do my best to move the 'Truth Value' as close to '1' as possible.

This is my opinion, but I believe that if the Bible were written in Boolean, it would be much easier to 'hack' it, and therefore be understood by Beasts and the Beast System. Fuzzy Logic requires a higher Consciousness to decipher.

Folks that try and use Gematria for example to arrive at 'Truth' are using Boolean, and therefore will not be able to discover the Bible's deepest secrets.

A Quantum Computer that is good at Fuzzy Logic may be the solution to get everyone to finally agree with what translation is best.

I will share one with you now using the word 'Beryl'.

If we were to overlay the Fermions on top of the Breastplate, we would find that the Electron matches the Beryl...

mhp-0793.png

Note that there are different versions of the Standard Model that reverse the last two rows. In that case, the Beryl would match the Electron Neutrino.

I like to use the one posted earlier in the thread.

Note also that various translations of the Bible have different words for the Gemstones. That is why I like to stay with one translation (KJV), that way our little experiment is consistent.

Anyhow, now that we matched the Beryl with the Electron, let us now see what the KJV has to say about it...

Ezekiel 1:16
"The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel."

How about that? What are the odds that the word 'Beryl' would match the Electron Orbitals of Ezekiel's Wheels? I would conclude that the odds are too astronomical to be a coincidence.

Let us try another...

Song Of Solomon 5:14
"His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires."

Yep, another match. The Beryl Gemstones orbit the Rings. The word Rings are used to describe Ezekiel's Wheels...

Ezekiel 1:18
"As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four."

As I mentioned earlier. The Eyes represent Electrons.

Beryl, Rings, Eyes, Amber... we are establishing the pattern now.

Another...

Daniel 10:6
"His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude."

Do you see it?

Beryl is now connected with Lightning. What is Lightening? It is the flow of Electrons.

Look what else is there. Eyes as Lamps of Fire. Lamps = Light. Light = Electromagnetism.

Now we have another Witness as to what the 'Eyes Round About' mean. They are Electrons orbiting the Nucleus.

Now that we know that the Eye in the Bible can be synonymous with the Photon and Light, we can go to our next verse...

Matthew 6:22
"The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light."

I can go on and on.

By using this method, I have discovered some of the most incredible and profound teachings the Bible has to offer.

I'm sorry to jump in, but I heard we were discussing probability.

I you were to flip a coin twice and it came out 'Heads' each time, would that be a coincidence?

Yes.

What if the coin came up Heads ten times in a row? Is that still coincidence?

Yes, it would be. I've actually had this happen to me twice when doing some probability exercises. It does feel very odd but it's not completely unexpected.

What about a hundred, a thousand? Still coincidence, or would you begin to get a little suspicious that something is not 'normal'?

The point that I would become suspicious is exactly 18, due to Bayes Theorem.

Essentially, if we start out with the expectation that heads is equally likely to occur as tails, then we have a 50% probability for heads or 1/2.

When we flip the coin, we can add to this initial probability the amount of iterations we have observed (which goes in the denominator) and how many of them were heads (which goes in the numerator.)

Our new probability is 2/3 for heads at this point, although we would still expect this to correct itself over enough iterations, eventually coming back to 1/2.

However, if we keep flipping heads, then by the time we get heads the 18th time we now have the fraction 19/20, which gives us a probability of 95% heads.

That rounds to a 100% certainty for heads if we're rounding to the nearest 10's place, which is something that should almost never happen if it's 50% likely. This is the point where I would say, informally, that it's highly likely that the next flip will be heads.

Now, to be fair, for me to say that something is certain I have a higher degree of precision in mind. In those instances, I'm talking about rounding to the nearest integer. In this instance, for me to say that I am certain that the next flip would be heads, we would have to flip heads 198 times consecutively, which would be 199/200 or 99.5%.

We should expect some fluctuation when we have a low number of iterations, but we should not expect the trend to take us towards 100% certainty. We only know if it seems to be trending towards 100% certainty after 18 iterations, though, before that we would just have an increasing indication that it is which is not enough evidence for me.

It could be the case that, for this specific coin, heads is actually closer to 80% or even 75% more likely. The exact percentage there would require a lot more iterations to cement and it would be harder to prove. Such a coin would be genuinely difficult to tell apart from a truly 50-50 one with a low number of iterations.

However, the most obvious and dramatic change, which would be if heads was 100% (or 0%) probable, is something that we can be reasonably sure about with a reasonably low number of iterations; 18.

This is a really important question to be asking and I think you've illustrated here why probability is so important. I appreciate it.

I operate within the realm of coincidence vs. not. I do not have mathematical equations to govern what is and what is not a coincidence, so I do my best to arrive at the best conclusion I can come up with.

I'm interested in which ones you use and how you interpret them.

I believe the Bible is written in Fuzzy Logic, as opposed to Boolean. I do my best to move the 'Truth Value' as close to '1' as possible.

Logical.

I agree with your criticisms of methods like Gematria and your reasons for them.

A Quantum Computer that is good at Fuzzy Logic may be the solution to get everyone to finally agree with what translation is best.

In my opinion, quantum computing is overrated. I don't think we need it to perform computations, certainly not the relatively trivial computations that come up in philosophical logic.

The issue comes more from trying to come up with computational definitions and proofs for the concepts that we're talking about. This is where controversy so easily arises because, despite the fact that we all use the same words and can agree with the same sentences, we often find out that our interpretations are completely different.

I mentioned in another thread that my big issue with Trinitarianism is that it has no computational definition, so to me that seems to imply that it should be more-or-less rejected as incoherent.

I'm not sure about this one. I suspect there might be a bit of apophenia at play here. You have layers and layers of interpretation between this verse and the supposed coincidence.

I think you should try to make as few conclusions as you can and then test them before piling more conclusions on top of them. I think more needs to be done to definitively link the gemstones to that table and the wheels to atoms. All of the important, spectacular coincidences of this passage and the others you shared only exist because of the particular interpretations you already assume.

I would start with one claim, preferably arrived at through probability, and then test that single claim first before involving other claims.

Even if the translation is incorrect?

This also gets messier if we use the oldest surviving complete copies of every text, too, because the Bible isn't written in just one language.

The New Testament was mostly written in Koine Greek, for instance, a far cry from the Aramaic of the older scriptures.

Even if we narrow it down to English and to the King James Bible, which King James Bible are we talking about? There are several different versions.

These are all influences on the thought experiment that also need to be verified before the thought experiment can help us arrive at any conclusions.

Of course, if we get into that, we might also begin bordering on questions like, which canon are we going by? Do we include the book of Enoch, for instance? In fact, why are we referencing the Bible at all?

This is all background information that I think is pertinent.

I you were to flip a coin twice and it came out 'Heads' each time, would that be a coincidence?

If you're interested in the maths, check out the "binomial distribution", which you can use to calculate the propability of outcomes of "Bernoulli experiments" such as flipping coins, or finding words in random letter sequences (though a text is not random). By choosing a cut-off propability ("confidence level"), you can answer questions like "is this coincidence?".

Not telling you how to do your process, but found your coin-tossing example interesting.

I just saw @Ella S. already responded. I should really read to the bottom of threads before jumping in..

Folks that try and use Gematria for example to arrive at 'Truth' are using Boolean, and therefore will not be able to discover the Bible's deepest secrets.

Gematria is calculated from the untranslated Hebrew text, at the level of letters, which is different from what you're doing. But matching computed values and matching phrases - in each case you're answering a yes/no question of "does this match?", so both are boolean?
