I am interested in religion as a broad topic. I would have been here years ago if I had known about it. I miss Beliefnet and I hadn't been able to find anything comparable. I haven't found it easy to find a community of people with similar interests and knowledge.
 
I like to live in a world of ideas, and an interfaith forum is nothing if not a world of ideas.
There's lots of lively discussion here.
I stay, because the good far outweighs the bad, and it doesn't have to be all or nothing. If I need a few days away, I just come back later.
 
Initially I came seeking others who had experienced nonduality. Though I didn't find any, I stayed simply because I enjoyed the flux of multiple ideas being shared and debated lovingly by many.

I've been away for a while but maybe now I'll return.
 
Although I'm also in a state of religious limbo right now after leaving the Church and I am searching for religious truth. This is a place where I can expose myself to a lot of different religious viewpoints and ideas.
 
No matter what God we think we are praying to, the same God hears all our prayers. We all have a duty to care for all of God's creation, and that has to mean caring for each other, despite all our differences.

God cares for all of us, so you will never look into the eyes of anyone who does not matter to God.

As to religion.
The Jews are God's chosen people.
Christians are chosen by Christ.
In Islam, Allah chooses whom he wills.

The same God chooses us in seemingly diverse ways. I am not knowledgeable on other faiths to comment.
 
I like to encounter the best arguments. It helps me with reflecting deeper on the Baha'i Faith and finding new connections.

Also, I enjoy reading others' stories. Your religious/spiritual journey - a thread started by @Modesty - has recently been one of the best ones on this online forum, I think. We cannot really have a proper place for public debates and discussions without getting to know each other on some level.
