Under the nose of a king

Isn't Holland a region WITHIN the Netherlands?
people often mistakenly call the Netherlands "Holland" due to historical significance, the prominence of the two provinces, and simplified branding efforts in tourism and media. While many people use the terms interchangeably, it's more accurate to refer to the entire country as the Netherlands and reserve "Holland" for the specific provinces of North Holland and South Holland. Understanding this distinction helps acknowledge the broader cultural and geographic diversity of the country.

Having a king, or dictator returns modern society to dark ages, and completely stifles human progress. Only a fool would desire to be king, and have everyone subservient to their orders. People are of unique and common experiences both. Only a fool desires a king to rule over them.

Self evidenced, and empirical truth as well as giving people equality under productive moral rights, laws, and economies makes the world worth living. Every time you give a person power over the masses nothing goes well.

The reality is most people would rather prefer someone else to sort out the problems.

And a lot of people regard self-serving choices as self-evidently and empirically true.

Self evidenced, and empirical truth as well as giving people equality under productive moral rights, laws, and economies makes the world worth living.
OK, but then a society has to be structured to protect and preserve those truths, equalities, moral rights and economies ... there's the rub!

Every time you give a person power over the masses nothing goes well.
Well, not every time ... some societies flourish as societies,

Kingship is unstable, while some kings may govern with respect to laws, there's no guarantee the successors of a good king will be good.

It's far better to run government with limited powers checked and balanced. The recent SCOTUS decision giving the President immunity from American law in official presidential matters directly usurps the Constitution and is one step closer to dictatorial rule.

Equality under the law ensures the principle that all people should be subject to law to ensure good and decent lawmaking. No one wants to make laws unfairly when they have to live by those same laws. Nothing flourishes quite like equal treatment under the law.
