Christ's Kingdom?

psalm 37;10For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. KJV......................................A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
though you look for them, they will not be found. NIV wow just think when the kingdom of God has removed all opposers of his kingdom(Daniel 2;44)it will be impossible to find any wicked on the earth because there will not be any .so no more locks and bars, because we will not need them in the new earth .2 peter 3;13 .and this will come about because Jesus is the right ruler for the earth . great, new rulership for the earth .yes Jesus as the rightrful ruler will bring peace to the earth. yipee:)

IMHO, Christ's Kingdom is when people have God's law written on their hearts and their minds. Please consider these scriptures:
Jeremiah 31:31-34 said:
31 “Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah— 32 not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the LORD. 33 But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.”
Compare Hebrews Chapter 8, Hebrews Chapter 10, and Romans Chapter 2.

Please consider what Jesus had to say about God's Law:
Mark 12:28-34 said:
28 Then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, “Which is the first commandment of all?”
29 Jesus answered him, “The first of all the commandments is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the LORD our God, the LORD is one. 30 And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ This is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”
32 So the scribe said to Him, “Well said, Teacher. You have spoken the truth, for there is one God, and there is no other but He. 33 And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself, is more than all the whole burnt offerings and sacrifices.”
34 Now when Jesus saw that he answered wisely, He said to him, “You are not far from the kingdom of God.”
But after that no one dared question Him.
Compare Luke Chapter 10, to see who constitues "a neighbor." :)

yes that is true , when the wicked are gone ,only rightous ones will be left over in the earth,Those who have Gods ways in their heart will inherit the earth and live under the rulership of God .not like now where we are living under manmade rulership . but as Daniel 2;44 tells us manmade rulership will come to its end and Gods rulership will fill the whole earth.
Does it sound strange that anyone would be an enemy of God’s government? Yet not everyone wants to live under a government that requires its subjects to do what is right. So after telling how Jehovah and his Son would take over world rulership, the Bible says, the nations became wrathful. (Revelation 11:15, 17, 18) The nations do not welcome God’s kingdom because Satan misleads them into opposing it......yes this kingdom or goverment was established in the heavens in 1914 right on time and in line with bible prophecy. some people say that Jesus started ruling in the heavens right after his resurrection ,but the bible tells us that he was waitingfor the time when he would start ruling.

But this [man] offered one sacrifice for sins perpetually and sat down at the right hand of God, from then on awaiting until his enemies should be placed as a stool for his feet....hebrews 10;12-13

When the time came for Christ to begin to rule, Jehovah told him: "Go subduing [or, conquering] in the midst of your enemies."—Psalm 110:1, 2, 5, 6..........yes this king of Gods goverment will acomplish what manmade goverments cannot.total peace on earth

The start of the rule of God’s kingdom does not mean immediate peace and security on earth. True peace will come later when God’s kingdom takes full control of the earth

For any nation and any kingdom that will not serve you will perish; and the nations themselves will without fail come to devastation...Isaiah 60;12

Hi there from mee,
If, when you are doing good and you suffer, you endure it, this is a thing agreeable with God.—1 PETER 2:20 just a little thought from the Jehovahs witness.....ouch...ouch....ouch..... My beliefs as a Jehovahs witness are different to the mainstream religions of christendom so you will notice a few ouches along the way:)

yeah rain.... sigh

lol mee I see the biggest difference between our two faiths is that you believe my faith is babylon.. :p I believe yours just keeps you in bondage. so yes we must suffer and endure till the end and continue to love each other with the love that Christ has for us.

Greetings, mee. It's OK for there to be a few ouches. Christ told us that his followers would be persecuted. :)

I think that it is self-evident that while there are those on the earth who cannot practice self-control {one of the fruits of the Spirit}, government is a necessary evil, and should be recognized as such.

Jesus said:
John 13:34-35 34 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. 35 By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Jesus said:
Matt 7:1-5, 20 1 “Judge not, that you be not judged. 2 For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. 3 And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? 4 Or how can you say to your brother, ‘Let me remove the speck from your eye’; and look, a plank is in your own eye? 5 Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
<...>20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them...

yes i agree that we do need to be obedient to the rules of the manmade goverments ,
First-century
Christians willingly submitted to the laws and regulations of those who were "superior authorities"—that is, the ruling powers of the day. (Romans 13:1

Romans 13:1, 4) But Christians still viewed God’s law as superior.

but as sincere as they maybe , man was not created to rule himself independent of God . we were not in the first place created to rule ourselves, that was not Gods original purpose , we all know what happened in the Garden of eden to end up with the world as it is now .but Gods kingdom which is Gods way of ruling will put us back inline with Gods rule , i find it really thrilling to be living in this time of the end, because the prophecies are well along and there are thrilling times ahead for those who want to be ruled by God .

Mee, have you ever had the "thrill" of going through the labor pains leading to childbirth?

the end result is well worth it ,is that what you mean?if so the end result regarding Gods kingdom will be worth it , this old manmade system is near the brink, then when the kingdom in the hands of Jesus christ has acomplished everything that Jehovah wants , Jesus will hand the kingdom back to his father Jehovah .
Next, the end, when he hands over the kingdom to his God and Father, when he has brought to nothing all government and all authority and power. For he must rule as king until [God] has put all enemies under his feet. As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing. For [God] "subjected all things under his feet." But when he says that ‘all things have been subjected,’ it is evident that it is with the exception of the one who subjected all things to him. But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him, that God may be all things to everyone....1 corinthians 15;24-28 yes ,Jesus will even do away with death..... then we will live forever like Jehovah intended in the first place before the sin of Adam

Luke 1:33 And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end."

i agree Mee. the son lays down his power, rule & authority, giving it back to God. He delivers the kingdom to God his father, & the son becomes subject to God, that God may be all in all. The Kingdom will be forever & ever.

i like the KJV better.:)

1 Corinthians 15:24,28 Then [cometh] the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

Yes , and then death will be swallowed up forever . death is all we have ever know on this earth . but the kingdom of God will even get rid of death of mankind
And death and Ha´des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire REV 20;14 hades is the common grave of mankind so it will be totally destroyed .wow what a thought only everlasting life , nomore death anouncements in the newspapers, maybe there will be resurrection anouncements instead...LOL

And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory...luke 21;27

(Matthew 24:30) And then the sign of the Son of man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in lamentation, and they will see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

(Mark 13:26) And then they will see the Son of man coming in clouds with great power and glory.

(Revelation 1:7) Look! He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, and those who pierced him; and all the tribes of the earth will beat themselves in grief because of him. Yes, Amen...... yes would you not agree that Jesus is in heaven with power and great glory ? he is the king of Gods kingdom ,do not your eyes have the understanding to see that this is so? we do not see with our litral eyes but we see with our eyes of understanding some say Jesus will come back litraly to the earth ,but it is not a litral seeing of Jesus but a (oh now i understand and recognize what Jesus is doing) but the question is do we recognize Jesus and his heavenly kingship according to the bible ? do we recognize that since 1914 we have been living in what the bible calls the last days of man ruling himself independent of God?

No, that is completely ridiculous. man has been sinning since he was first created. we have sinned so bad that even sodom and gommorah had to be destroyed, then the world had to be flooded, then at the tower of babel we had to be dispersed. there have been wars since man could make weapons. because jw are trying to prophesize a date, yet have failed many times in doing so, i would be careful continuing this practice.

did i say that we were not sinning:confused: yes you are so right , in times past Jehovah did destroy those who were not living according to his ways and standards, and many today are again living in amongst a crooked generation
"O faithless and twisted generation, how long must I continue with you and put up with you?"—LUKE 9:41. They have acted ruinously on their own part; They are not his children the defect is their own.a generation crooked and twisted ....Dueteronomy 32;5

that is why Jesus will act on behalf of his father Jehovah ,to make known to this generation of faithless and twisted, that he is King of Gods kingdom and every eye will see and have understanding ,but the question is have they put faith in Jesus and his kingdom? or will they not put faith in Jesus ? the bible tells us we can be saved from this wicked generation of people w ho like to make their own rules as to what is right and what is wrong .Jesus will do many things as king of Gods kingdom ,and one of those things is to judge the nations as to how they have acted are they Godly or are they wicked yes you are right we cannot put any date as to when he will go into action we can only make sure we are not part of the Generation of wicked ones, then we will not be judged adversally

But by the same word the heavens and the earth that are now are stored up for fire and are being reserved to the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly men...2; peter 3;7 fire sybolizes total destruction it does not mean the earth will be litrally burning , but the heavens which in the bible sometimes refer to the ruling powers will be destroyed, that is to say that the ruling powers of mankind will be destroyed Daniel 2;44 and the earth can sometimes refer to the earthly society of the people on it ,so the earth will be destroyed because they are a crooked and wicked generation .but notice it tells us that it will only be the ungodly who will be destroyed so i am sure that the judging by Jesus christ will be done in a just way

"did i say that we were not sinning"

you clearly made a distinction in mans sin with your 1914 date.
