But he also sent Jesus Christ to provide a new commandment of love that would eradicate the darkness and I truly hold on to the hope of the prophecies being fulfilled.

That there will be a future for humanity of complete peace once we have moved through to the other side of the end times.

Personally I feel like living in the present, I want to make humanity with more peace now not wait for God to tie his laces before he comes to our rescue.

Jesus Christ brought lots of love but where do Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, Chico Mendes etc and other great people come into the equation? I think these people have undoubtably made the World a better place. IMO everyone should strive to work for the same ideals as these people have, to make the world a better place. I don't see what difference waiting for; "everyone to move through to the other side of the end times" will make.

Lucifer was Satan's (devil's) name before he was expelled from heaven. Its commonly used in texts and philosophical/theological manuscripts. Nowadays we just simply refer to him as Satan or the devil.
